Thaks Jox. Always glad to know when Lucy is going to make a movie or be in a T.V. show. Would like to see something with Renee also.

I think Reneé is busy trying to raise money for a short film she wrote... don't know if she plans on acting in it, or is just going to be the writer and director of it.

Was Dylan Neal the actor that played her husband?

That's correct - their characters in Locusts are back for this movie.

Hi Oldchakram,
I thought that actor and Lucy were a believable couple. I've never seen him before. Glad he was able to commit.

Good on Lucy...I guess "creature features" on TV might be a good niche market now that movies seem to be in a slump now. I think Renee's on to a good think, doing her own work. Like John Cassavetes amd a few other brilliant actors who've gone independant. Way to go if you've got support and an odd film or TV gig to help with the expenses.

If my memory is correct creature work was something that Renee was originally offered after Xena ended. I've still to hear the offers that passed by LL due to some mgt naivete. It's like the Kathryn Morris 10 TV Pilots she shot before coming on board with CBS for Cold Case. (like what pilots didn't work) ~Naj

Your comment got me thinking, Naj About a gruesome s.f. creature feature, and a strong female lead with a theatre background but considered "too tall" in a film career which began slowly. Actually, I didn't like ALIEN and its many sequels, but I though Sigourney Weaver was the greatest woman hero (even after Emma Peel) until years later when Lucy Lawless appeared as Xena. And I remember Ms. Weaver, who's career took after after the first Alien (sequels notwithstanding). I've been hoping that one of these s.f. flicks that Lucy and Renee are stuck with might...just might (here's hoping) take off like Alien did. I don't know what Lucy's expecting from her career apart from steady work, and I'm sure Renee's prepared to go her own way...but like it or not, nothing succeeds like success in the industry, and they both deserve a real break more than a lot of the competition out there.
