Boom Town ~ The movie is a 1940 adventure drama Hollywood film starring Clark Gable, Spencer Tracy, Claudette Colbert, Hedy Lamarr, and Frank Morgan. If you watch movies from that era, you know it's one heck of a cast.

K - The Cisco Kid, a TV western of the early 50s based on the character by O. Henry. It was also the first television series to be filmed in color, and usually ended with the title characters repeating the same lines. "Awww Pancho! Awww Cisco!"

Oooooo....Oscar de la Hoya. Indeed, a super cutie. *swoon* I've always had a crush on him.
P is for Philip Marlowe, detective, played by everyone from Robert Mitchum to Dick Powell to James Garner, to (my favorite) Humphrey Bogart. Mitchum was a pretty great Marlowe, though.

Coupla good ones there, gals.
U is for Uncle Billy, who misplaced the bank's cash in "It's A Wonderful Life".
He was played by Thomas Mitchell, a wonderful character actor who was in many of the best films of Hollywood's Golden Era: "Gone With The Wind" (as Scarlett's father), "Mr. Smith Goes To Washington", "Only Angels Have Wings", "The Hunchback Of Notre Dame", "High Noon", "Lost Horizon", and won a Best Supporting Actor Oscar for "Stagecoach" (another of my favorite films).

I've been listening to his solo release. He's another one like Aaron that the voice just draws you in. And gosh, who hasn't he performed with...Ramones, Tom Petty, The Strokes, REM, The Who, Paul McCartney...
Xavier Roberts, the guy whose signature is on all Cabbage Patch Kids' butts!

I guess Vedder is like Chris Cornell (it was a Soundgarden song, btw); his name appears on a whole lotta stuff. My co-worker and I were just talking about how music artists aren't regulated a particular genre of music anymore, and collaborate with all kinds of other artists; this was the other day when Lil' Wayne's name came up on some pop music song he listens to, that I can't think of the name of right now...a mellowish song that wasn't vile at all; a complete departure for Lil' Wayne, IMO.
I'm sure this one has been used before, but I can't think of another "z" right now either....except the kind I should be making while asleep.
Danny Zuko from Grease

"a mellowish song that wasn't vile at all" - LOL! Now THERE'S a compliment!
Y'all skipped Y...
Y is for Yo, Yolanda Griffith, who is a real person (my niece's favorite ex-WNBA player), but is a character, too. Had to pass on a college hoops scholarship to give birth to her daughter. Later attended a junior college, and supported herself by repossessing cars. Went on to great WNBA stardom: a 7-time All Star, a league MVP, a Defensive Player of the Year, a championship series MVP, and voted as one of the 15 greatest players in league history.
So, thanks to Gams' Z for Zuko, we're back to A.
