Right now, Amazon has 3 TV shows signed up for this. As a creator of a TV-series, how would you feel about someone else using your work as a part of their gain?
Granted, a lot of TV shows do have tie-in novels, so this would be pretty much the norm. Also, a TV show hires a number of writers to work on each episode throughout the season. So, this is most likely no biggie.

Not being a writer - I do not know exactly how I would feel. Hazarding a guess, I would expect fair royalties, but we all know that literary works are modified to fit the genre. It would seem to me the idea of getting to the stage or screen (large or small), getting credit for the original idea, and the associated publicity, would do me a lot of good.
