When I first did a search for, Marv Quinn Holdings Limited, I discovered it to be owned by Matthew Vaughn and Guy Ritchie. I can't find that info anymore . . . but there is info that states that Matthew Vaughn, Claudia Schiffer, and Marv Studios own MQHL. Matthew Vaughn and Guy Ritchie own Marv Studios.
Therefore I don't believe that Taylor Swift is the author, Elly Conway. Taylor would never give up the rights to her own work.
In addition, the Argylle novel is copyrighted to Marv Quinn Holdings Limited, a company registered to Vaughn and his wife.
The book is copyrighted in the U.K. to Marv Quinn Holdings Limited, the same company that produced “Argylle.” The company’s directors are Vaughn and his wife Claudia Schiffer and its majority owner is Vaughn’s production company Marv Studios. The copyright page does state, however, that Conway has “asserted her right…to be identified as the author of this work.”
... we can announce that Elly Conway is, in fact, two people:Terry Hayes, the Australian novelist and screenwriter, best known for his world-conquering 2013 debut I Am Pilgrim; and Tammy Cohen, the British author of psychological thrillers such as When She Was Bad (2016) and They All Fall Down (2017).
Talking to the pair on Zoom, I manfully try to hide my disappointment that it’s not Taylor Swift I’m quizzing. Cohen, 60, admits that she was expecting some level of speculation as to Conway’s identity, but nothing like this: “God, I hope all the people that pre-ordered on the basis that Taylor wrote it aren’t disappointed,” she says. “I hope they are!” chimes in Hayes, 72. “If that’s why they buy a book, they deserve every punishment they get.”
"You DON'T bite the hand that FEEDS you. And you DON'T incur the WRATH of the Swifties!" says Joxcenia. "That's gonna come back to bite him in the arse. Too bad for Tammy Cohen, as she evidently wrote most of the book by herself."
I'm getting close to the halfway mark of the book, Argylle. It's BORING as HELL! Hopefully it will get better before it ends. I didn't buy the book because of the Taylor Swift Easter Eggs . . . I bought it because the movie's trailers and clips were fun.
