Supernanny’s Stare More Powerful Than A Speeding Brick NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) – Anyone who’s been spit on, scratched and threatened with a brick by unruly children and comes back for more really does deserve the moniker “Super.” All that and more has happened to Supernanny star Jo Frost during her career as a nanny, although not necessarily on the TV show.
Frost says in her line of work she doesn’t receive hazard pay, although she needs it. She had one showdown with one naughty boy who picked up a brick and threatened to chuck it at her.
The Supernanny says she stared the boy down until he dropped the brick.
Frost, who doesn’t have kids of her own, says the work, “hasn’t put me off.” She says “If I have kids, I will. If I don’t, I don’t.”
Season two of Supernanny begins this Friday (Sep. 23) on ABC, and Frost says she’s looking forward to traveling around the entire U.S. as opposed to just Colorado and Los Angeles where season one was taped.
She says she’s hoping to study how children’s behavior varies regionally around the country.
