Oh man, I got SUCH a shok today..SUCH a shock....you said you like Supernanny, right? Oh. My. God. I went to the yahoo groups about her..and someone posted this...does THIS sound like the Jo Frost we know and Love? Does it?!

Jo Frost and her crew is currently staying at the hotel i work at
while
she is filming here, and i have to say, i've never dealt with
someone
so difficult in my life.


she's done nothing but complain about everything, and is incredibly
rude to all the employees, including tipping very badly.


some examples,


1. telling servers in the bar and restaurant that they have to make
sure to constantly check on her because she "can't be seen" and
"doesn't want to have to come looking for you"
2. constantly complaining about every food item she gets,
including
ridiculous things like "this coffee is too strong" and sending back
5
salads before she would eat one.


3. to top it off, today she sent back a hamburger because it wasn't
well done enough. so she had the audacity to demand, in her
words "the
most expensive champagne you have," for free! ($215 Dom Perignon!)
we
of course, didn't give it to her, and offered her a bottle of $72
champagne, which she of course, complained about.


4. when checking in, she brought half her house with her in
luggage,
and didn't tip the bellman for carrying every single piece up for
her!
what i thought was the worst thing she did, there is a woman at the
front desk who owns a daycare center and WAS a big fan of hers.
when
she checked in, this woman wanted to tell her how much she
appreciates
what she is doing. Jo responded by waving her hand at her in a "F-
U"
like fasion and walked away. needless to say, she lost a fan, and a
lot of respect.


all of us at the hotel are counting down the days until she checks
out,
because she is a complete demon, and she's getting employees, who
are
doing nothing wrong, in a lot of trouble now because of her constant
complaining.
she is a perfect example of someone who let a little bit of fame and
fortune get to her head. i've never in my entire career dealt with
someone like this. she really needs to be brought back down to
earth,
because she is no better a person than any of the people she is
treating like dirt right now, and i certainly would never take child
rearing advice from someone who treats people this way.


as a side note, the rest of her crew has been very nice, and has not
had a single problem.



(The donut issue had to do with her going to a donut shop and
intentionally sneezing on the donuts and walking out saying, "deal
with it".) I don't believe this happened and is just a joke. At any
rate, if the incident above is even partially true, it would very
much effect my opinion of her regardless of how well she helps
families. In some of her interviews, she behaves rather arrogant
anyway. I just didn't expect this type of extremely rude behavior.


NO, no, I can't BELIEVE this!! I love this woman!! I mean, have they ever READ one of her interviews?!?! she does NOT sound arrogant! It's not true anyway...she doesn't drink champagne, she drinks rum and coke and margaritas! She's ALWAYS so modest, quiet, kind, sweet....HOW can she do that...WHY would she do that!!! She DIDN'T do that...this b***h is making the whole thing up!! She has to..it can't be true!!!!

I went to yahoo and defended JO like there was no tomorrow, I said this article can't be true...this does NOT sound like JO! NO one wth Jo's upbringing would end up being a diva! She's too kind to be a diva!!! Do you have a yahoo messenger? if you do..PLEASE defend Jo! After this accusation she NEEDS people on her side! Whoever wrote that is defacing the name of a good woman!! Sorry...I'm just so shocked!!! I don't beliee this...it just isn't true..

I read one of her interviews and didn't think she sounded arrogant. You have seen her in interviews, and I'm guessing she didn't seem arrogant in those, either.

If you really want to defend her, you could look for a post on the web from someone else who has waited on her, whether a waitress or bellhop, etc, who has nothing but good things to say about her, and then lead readers to that post. You and I have never met her in person, so us simply saying that she is a good person just isn't enough to defend her.

That said, there are celebrities out there who may only seem very nice, because they have PR to consider and would lose their paycheck if the public found out what they are really like. However, I find it hard to believe the accusations in this case because (1) she seems genuine on the show and (2) she needs to be especially careful of PR, even off camera, because of the particular 'role' she plays in television and how easy it is for someone to make a post like that person did.

I wouldn't say it's not possible, but it's going to take a lot more than just one person's post to make me believe such horrible things about someone who can keep her patience when a child draws her blood.

Exhibit #1:
jofrostsucks has only posted on two threads in the google groups, making the same post at both. Click here for "all" two of jofrostsucks' posts.

Exhibit #2:
This thread is about Diane Levy, New Zealand's Supernanny, yet jofrostsucks didn't even look at the thread to see this before posting.

Exhibit #3:
Even though Taylor admitted to making up the donut story in this thread, jofrostsucks decided to copy and paste it to the NZ thread anyway, still not noticing that the NZ thread has nothing to do with Jo Frost and that most of the people there have never heard of her. Interestingly enough, though, the people on that thread don't believe jofrostsucks' story, even though they don't know who she is.

Exhibit #4:
jofrostsucks has made the same identical post at at least one other place, digitalinsurrection.com.

Exhibit #5:
Notice that the last poster on that Digital Insurrection thread was "Taylor," the same alter that made up the donut story.

Open and shut case. I think pointing out these facts is enough to debunk jofrostsucks' story. ;D
