A friend told me about Nanny a few weeks ago (around 2/18/07) where they had a mother and an 8 year old boy with ADHD. I need to find out how I can watch that show? My wife and I are in the same boat. Our son has ADHD and ODD. My friend thinks we need to watch that episode. Please Help.

I haven't found any videos yet. You can check with www.youtube.com though, sometimes people upload clips of shows there. Just do a search for: Supernanny+Goins Family.

I don't know what it is exactly you're looking for, but I came across this bit of info and thought I'd pass it on in case it is fits what you're looking for.

In many of these episodes, the parents pose part of the problem, because they don't constructively discipline the children. There was one episode, however, where the mother was just as immature as her eleven year old daughter. You'd think that they'd be like birds of a feather, but instead, they constantly clashed. The eleven year old would always say that she was going to run away (and really, who could blame her?). The mother would say, "Oh no you're not!" Then it would be a back and forth battle of "Yes I am", "No you're not." I mean, come on, Mom! Just say something like, "OK, then you are." Saying "no you're not" just encourages the girl all the more. One time, the girl was actually going to go through with running away. She had a note written. The mother started mercilessly teasing her, reading the note and pretending that she couldn't read it - something that you'd expect a sibling to do instead of a grown woman. And when the girl walked away, her mother chased after her, still reading the note and stuttering. It seemed that her mother was the one who needed the parenting, not the kids.
