NBC drama scores its best ratings of the season.
Heroes Save the cheerleader, save NBC.
NBC's Heroes scored its highest rating yet, helping NBC to its eighth Monday-night win of the fall season. The episode, which featured the culmination of the "save the cheerleader, save the world" storyline, scored a 6.9 ratings in 18-49-year-olds, with 16 million viewers, according to Nielsen overnights. The numbers puts Heroes in the same class as the show it's most frequently compared to, ABC's Lost.
At 8 p.m., NBC scored a 4.9 with Deal or No Deal, with Fox nabbing a 4.0 for Prison Break. ABC earned a combined 3.2 for Charlie Brown specials, and CBS took a combined 3.1 for How I Met Your Mother and The Class. The CW won a combined 1.3 for Everybody Hates Chris and All of Us.
At 9, Heroes clocked in with a 6.9, CBS scored a combined 4.3 for Two and a Half Men and The New Adventures of Old Christine. Fox landed a 3.0 for a House rerun, and ABC earned a 2.7 for The Bachelor: Rome. CW took a combined 1.1 for Girlfriends and The Game.
At 10 o'clock, CBS nabbed a 5.9 for CSI: Miami, and NBC's Studio 60 On the Sunset Strip scored a 3.1. ABC landed with a 2.4 for What About Brian.
Overall, NBC scored a 5.0 rating/12 share in 18-49s, with 13.3 million average viewers; CBS, 4.4/11, 13.4 million; Fox, 3.5/9, 9.0 million; ABC, 2.8/7, 7.4 million; and the CW, 1.2/3, 2.9 million.
