I just found this googling. This is the kind of people I like to be with on a forum. Just love reading their answers.
Here's several from the beginning. Go the the link to read them all.
Other Thoughts:
From the previews, I thought this would be a second-rate CSI knockoff, but the show has grown on me. The actress who plays Lily Rush really carries the show - even through the cheesy cutting and 80s music. It's a guilty pleasure, but a pleasure nonetheless.
THIS SHOW HASN'T JUMPED THE SHARK BUT DO SOMETHING WITH THAT GIRL'S HAIR! WASH IT, CUT IT, WHATEVER, JUST DON'T PUT THAT GREASY LOOKING poopoo UP IN A CLIP!!
Lily's complete failure to perform any sort of hair care is distracting and bewildering. The show isn't bad but the 'do is awful. Her hair stylist should be fed to a shark.
This show has some nice dramatic effects when in flashback mode, but it doesn't change the fact that Kathyrn Morris is a mediocre actress at best, and ridiculously young-looking and attractive for her role. She makes it look like the Philadelphia PD homicide squad has taken to hiring clean-cut nine-year old girls to do their investigations! It certainly doesn't help that Morris' character comes off as unbearably self-righteous and arrogant, even when interviewing victims' families.
Not only do they need to clean up her greasy sloppy hair but they should clean up Lily's greasy looking makeup, too.
Love this show!! The storylines are fascinating, the actors are great and using the background music for whatever time period the cold case took place, sets the whole tone. I haven't missed an episode yet. Yes, I noticed the hair clip thing too and wondered what was up with that, but it doesn't bother me. Maybe it's Lily's "trademark" or something. Like Kojak's lollipop or Baretta's parrot.
I cannot stand that the star of this show has not yet washed or combed her hair - she looks NASTY!!!! If you are supposed to be busy with your cases, fine - but PLEASE wash your hair, even if you can't find the time to comb it. No wonder you don't have any partners who want to work with you. yuck!
Having been a fan of the original "Cold Case Files" on A&E, I was anxious to see this show. I love it! Especially the "flashbacks" and soundtrack. Haven't missed an episode yet. One question though: Why does Lilly Rush wear her hair up in a clip every single show? Just curious.
Best new show of the season, hand down! The flashbacks to the characters when they were the age that the crimes were happening is enough to give me chills. The music is the best. I just love the way they incorporate the music of the time into the show. The main character, Catherine, can be a little rough around the edges but she's o.k. The last episode had her getting hounded by some guy for a date, they should be careful there.
