K-Fed Will 'Lose Control' on 'CSI' Britney's husband will appear in future episode August 28 2006
Kevin FederlineLOS ANGELES -- Chalk up another debut for Kevin Federline: Britney Spears' husband has booked his first acting gig on a forthcoming episode of "CSI."
The "performer and rapper," as CBS calls him, will guest-star in an episode of the network's highly rated crime drama this fall. He'll be playing an "arrogant teenager" named Cole Tritt who annoys Nick (George Eads) and Warrick (Gary Dourdan) as they investigate the beating of a Las Vegas tourist.
Chances are more people will watch Federline in the episode, which hasn't been scheduled yet, than saw him make his national performance debut on the Teen Choice Awards eight days ago. About 5 million people were tuned in when Federline dropped his single "Lose Control" on the Teen Choice audience; "CSI" averaged close to 25 million viewers a week last season.
Federline has also appeared in the 2004 movie "You Got Served," where he was credited as "Dancer," which, we're assuming, means he didn't have much dialogue to memorize. Then there was the much-derided 2005 UPN show "Britney & Kevin: Chaotic," which chronicled the couple's courtship when he was a backup dancer on her tour.
The tabloid-staple couple are expecting their second child together later this year.
