I was searching through Bamm.com's Juvenile Fiction : Horror & Ghost Stories section and came across the third book in this series. The title jumped out at me and so I had to get them all. I sure hope they're worth it. If nothing else, I guess they could be an example of how not to write my children's books.
Warning!
If you haven't yet read any of the books in this series, you might want to do so before reading this thread.

I finished the first book last night, and am off to read the second book. So far, I'm not feeling like I wasted my money. I think, if you liked both "The Wizard of Oz" and "Labyrinth," you'll enjoy this trilogy.

I finished the second book the other night and am a wee bit over half way through the third book. I'm liking this trilogy pretty well. It ain't very scary, (think fantasy), so it isn't the example I need for the soft-horror book I have in my head, but it may just fit the Boogerman story fairly well. That one is more a fantasy than soft-horror.

May Bird gets a request for help from the Lady of North Farm. Evil Bo Cleevil is slowly taking over the Ever After, and according to The Book of the Dead, May Bird is destined to save it. May picks up a few new friends during her journey in the underworld. (Who knew it was a distant star. Go figure.) And they help her and Somber Kitty find their way back home.
