A school friend of mine said recently: "Do you realise we're now a third of the way to being 100?". Actually I'm not quite a third of the way to being 100, but I am a third of the way to being 99. Does that answer the question?

Oh...so being married and having kids means you're supposed to grow up? Oops, that never occured to me.
Hey - A customer told me today that he thought I looked like I was in my twenties. Whoo-hoo. I think he was just trying to get a discount though.

Nah, I didn't miss it. I just forgot. I know your staff pic was taken some odd years ago, but I still picture you as that age in the pic. Phalon, don't worry about growing up. Besides, it's easier to identify with your kids if you still act like one yourself, right?

I haven't changed much from that photo... (taken when I was 25) just a few wrinkles here and there... oh... and a month ago I finally got brave and colored my hair red... it's a temp color, so it's slowly washing out... but still pretty dark.

Well I was born one year after the end of the war. That's the second world war i'm referring to, not the Boer war, in case anyone was wondering.

My deadly secret!!!! 65 (almost)...going on 39. Strange, when I was 16 I could pass for 21 and was going into bars. Now I can't get away with senior's fare on the bus. Ha!

I'm still digging my way towards the "older than dirt" thread. I can't seem to find it, but then again, they say your eyesight is one of the first things to go.

How dark did you make it? From what I can tell from your picture, you look pretty fair-skinned. The box said "Redwood"... It was as dark as the girl's hair in "My So-Called Life" (who is also a blonde... and seeing how good she looked got the bug started)... I don't guess I should try black... that was one I was also going to try. I had this box for a year before finally working up the nerve. When I watched the Carol Burnett show and she and Vicki both said that they were really blondes... (and who look really good as redheads)... and then Reneé also looked good as a redhead... I decided to just "go for it"! I'd been wanting to try it out for several years. I'm liking it a little better now that it's lightening up some... I think if I go with a permanant color I'll use a lighter shade of red.
And yeah... I am fair-skinned. So I don't think I should go with dark colors in the future. I'm just glad it washes out in 28 shampoos. I should probably not go darker than medium. Live and learn.

Here ya go, erco. Click here. It's the one in ALL CAPS. Maybe that's why. Jox, I would love to see a pic of you with the red hair. I colored mine dark brown once, and I swear people (more specifically, guys) treated me with more respect then. Too bad I don't have any pics.

Is that you, Erco? Let me feel my way. That reminds me of the Greise song You're The One That I Want.
I am older than Phalon's dirt.
