First before I get to my question, I would like to thank everyone for their input into my diet & exercise regiment. I haven't altered anything, I'm just more aware now.
Anyways, here's my question. Since I've lost a lot of weight in over a year, I'm kind of obsessed with it, I don't do anything drastic like starving myself, or anything like that, I just weigh myself everday. I think this is adding to my grief when dealing with my health then helping. So with that in mind, my question is this, how often should I weigh myself? Once a week? Twice a week? Bi-weekly?

Hi Piper Here's an article that might help you decide: Scale Back: How To Keep Pounds In PerspectiveI think once a week on the same day each week sounds good. First thing in the morning, after you go to the bathroom and before you eat, in the same clothes (or no clothes) everytime. Remember that weight fluctuates, and muscle weighs more than fat. If you've gained weight, it might be that you've gained muscle, so don't let the scale worry you. In the long run, as long as you feel healthy and look good, I wouldn't really worry about what the scale says.

Oh boy. Advice. Yesssssssssss.
Throw the scale out, really. I don't have one. You know even without it if you are just right. Focus on the health not the weight.
Oh, and Gams' neighbors know what a lean mean party machine I am. Ask the one with the red hair and tattoos.

I saw her today on my way to work, Gabbin. It seems she has a new job picking up trash along side the road. Looking quite svelte and fashionable in her new orange jumpsuit, and although it clashed with her hair color, the orange accented her gold teeth quite nicely. She asked about you as I drove by. Wanted to know if the piercings were healing and the infections cleared up. Says to tell you, she's sorry, but she thought the rusty nail was clean. Spit on it, you know.
Piper, I agree with Gabbin. Lose the scale, and judge things by the way you feel. I only get weighed once a year, at my annual check-up, (or possibly more - depending on the frequency of visits to the doctor's office). By my calculations, I weigh the same as I did in highschool, over twenty years ago. My hair was very short then...now it is fairly long - figure I can tack on a couple pounds for that. A teenager wears much less clothing than a middle-aged mother of two - allow a couple more pounds there. Yep, I weigh exactly as much as I did at seventeen. It's all in the attitude.
