I really like this episode because we get a view into Gabrielle's personality. I had not realized how hurt she was when Xena had left her behind to go to Chin alone. I had originally thought that it had more to do with Hope. I never would have imagined that she could ever have asked Ares for help, her dislike for him was so apparent. I also enjoyed the trials she had to go through to admit the truth to herself. Sometimes truth is very painful.

Lol... I think I'm going against the current on this one -- I don't know why, but I've never really been a fan of episodes heavily based on clips.
And I've never been too excited for a Gabrielle-centered episode either -- not that I don't like Gabrielle -- but I needed some more action... some more... Xena!

Some of the original stuff is quite good, and Gabby gets to say "how come this thing I wear keeps getting smaller". But it's a clip show, and even the Urn of Apollo isn't enough to forgive that.
