This is a good example of why XWP was so great. Although they maybe didn't quite pull off everything as well as they probably intended, you've got to admire them for trying something this ambitious. And for the most part, it looks great. I do like the way they wrapped up the Callisto story, and Gabby's inability to accept that Callisto really is different. And watching again I'd completely forgotten the best scene, which is Joxer, Amaraice and Eli taking X&G's bodies off the crosses, which is very powerful and beautfully shot. But generally I was never that keen on the psuedo-christian themed episodes. I believe this is the episode which won Jo Lo Duca an Emmy? Which is a shame as I think the score is very much a typical Hollywood score and lacking the originality he usually has. Of course the cynic in me would say that's the reason he won.
