Night Crawlers....how'd they worm their way into this conversation? Fishing around for a word, I suppose.

That's your job? Gutter mouth, mind, or general being? Maybe guttural-of-the above? (you are all of the above) So bad when puns have to be explained.
Gutters remind me of spring cleaning, when the ones on the maple side of the house spring forth with enough seedlings to reforest all the areas stricken by wild fires.

Yes....we all know I have a dirty mind. It's a flaw I know. As for spring. It reminds me I have spring cleaning to do.

Mom likes rutabagas, claiming they are a tasty roota vegetable, but I baga to differ with her. They remind me of big turnips. Ick.

You don't like beets? I love beets...the smell, the texture, the taste, the way they turn my fingers all purple when I peel the skins off after cooking. What more could you ask for in a root vegetable? I love parsnips too.

Hey, my taste is excellent.
Did that come out sounding other than the way I intended it to?

Sometimes the things I utter are done so purposefully. Other times, what comes out of my mouth doesn't make sense, even to me. Reminds me of another of my favorite Horace quotes. This one I think I'll use after Phalon in the Whoosher story gets back across the sea - hopefully with her soul intact.
"It is when I am struggling to be brief that I become unintelligible."
Or when I am too wordy also.

"I beg your pardon. I never promised you a rose garden." Thanks, Xengab - now that song is stuck in my head, and I'm pardoned from the one Hubs stuck there this morning. "It ain't me, it ain't me. I ain't no senator's son. No." The senator's son got pardoned to, didn't he?
