Funny... mine is the only vote, yet somehow... I know the world agrees with me. I've tapped into humanity's hidden hive mind. Maybe I'm just perfect and utterly omnicient.

My favorite scenes are when the real Crustacea fell in love with Hagar at the beach. And then when Gabrielle told Sturgina (Discord) & Crabella (Aphrodite):
Crustacea (Gabrielle): "If you wanted my finger-- all you had to do was ask." (flips the middle finger)

My favorite scenes are when the real Crustacea fell in love with Hagar at the beach. As seen in your avatar? You can't beat a good Saturday Night Fever parody. ;D I *love* this episode. It really made me laugh uncontrollably the first time I saw it, and still has a similar effect even though I now know everything that's coming. Meghan Desmond just steals the show for me though, everything she says in that accent is just hilarious.

I read somewhere not too long ago that Rob had thought of creating a series with the look this episode had... but didn't. My loss. I would love to see a series with this look and feel.

I really really did not like this episode.
I usually go for the goofy eps, but I don't like ones that take us into the realm of total idiocy. I don't like any of the "I was Xena or Gabrielle in another life" episodes either. The only totally wacko episode I found to be okay was "Send in the clones", just because it was funny to see Xena and Gabrielle interract with their fans and the future.
I think the creators were brave to take us into something completely new and completely unlike Xena, but I think it was just too goofy for me to really get into it, much like "If the Shoe fits."

I have to admit too that this is the only episode I can honestly say I hate.
I am one of these people who its very hard for me to say a bad thing about Xena, but this episode is my ONE exception! I just didn't understand it, I know its a dream-world and all and its not supposed to make much sense but still I didn't like the look or feel of it. Gabrielle was completely out of her own character, and Aphrodite & Discord's horrible accents put me in a state of tension! LOL
Sorry I just dont know how they even managed to get this one past pre-production.

I liked this episode mainly because it showed off Ted Raimi's talent. He was really under appreciated as Joxer. If this was truly only a dream of Gabrielle, how did she get the ring she is wearing at the end? I wish they had fleshed out the ending a bit more, but no matter it was a good episode anyway.
