I'm assuming, Joxie, with that many "o's" followed by an exclaimation point, that something bad happened.
Ghost Whisperer is one of those shows I've always thought looked interesting, and would love to watch, but never have. Its eight o'clock time slot is too early; BP is still awake at the time, and the show looks too scary for her. Hell, judging from the commercials I see for it, it looks too scary for me.

CRAP!
If they're doing what I think they're doing, I'm done with this show!
S * P * O * I * L * E * R * * * S * P * A * C * E
Okay ... the _Ghost Whisperer's_ husband dies, and then his soul refuses to leave and enters the body of someone who just died and went into the light. Nooooooooooooo! Are you kidding me?
What? So now she and the new body get married and things go on like normal, but with a different actor playing her husband? NO!
Did you PTB not see 'Sliders' season 4? Quinn is switch with an alternate Quinn who is played by a different actor ... . OMG! It didn't fly then, and it ain't gonna fly now.
Not
with
ME!

LMAO, Joxie - I've heard "jump ship", but never the phrase, "jump the shark", but I imagine that's quite the hurdle to overcome.
I'm guessing "Ghost Whisperer" has been cancelled?

No, the show hasn't been canceled. Not as far as I know. I just don't like what they did with a main character.
Jumping The Shark
Jump The Shark
Here's the thing. Ghost Whisperer's husband is shot by a policeman by accident and he dies. His spirit refuses to leave and go into the light. He enters the body of a just killed man whose spirit goes into the light. Now dead hubby is dead no more.
So, that's where we are so far. Now ... if they're going to do what I think they're going to do: Ghost Whisperer marries the body that now houses her dead husband's spirit and they continue living happily ever after ... I'm gonna throw something at the TV.

Thanks for those links, Joxie. The "Jumping the Shark" phrase has quite an interesting origin; I feel so in-the-know now, and am one tiny rung up the ladder, and climbing out of my pop-cultural hole.

It got worse. The body the dead husband jumped into is only seen in reflections. The original actor who plays the original husband is still playing the part ... only he's in a different body ... yet the actor of the second body is only seen in reflections!!!! Is this crazy or what!?! I can't believe this crap got picked up for another season.
But ... how brilliant is this?
CBS bought Medium and it airs right after Ghost Whisperer ... so duh ... if nothing else is on better than Ghost Whisperer, then it will pull in those waiting to watch Medium, and get good ratings.
Yeah. Okay. I will start out with it ... maybe ... I don't know yet what's on the fall lineup. But if it just gets crazier ... I'll just spend that hour on the net ... provided nothing else good is on across from it.
Sheesh. I want Jim back in Jim's body ... I don't care that David is still playing the role ... I WANT JIM ... NOT SAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And the next season wasn't any better. The second body isn't even seen in reflections or photos anymore. And "Sam" is now using his middle name, "James" ... and "Jim" is back as if he never died. I so hate what they've done to the show. I don't care that it has been canceled, and I won't be trying to save the show.
