I drew this portrait of Renee as Hope but I wanted to put my own spin on it. I wanted the piece to be dark and scary so I gave her red eyes and green skin and added extra dark shading. Especially under the eyes. I also wanted the colors to appear dark and dank instead of the usual bright and vivid to make it appear a bit moody so instead of using the usual white drawing paper, I used green. I like it because it's so radically different from my other color portraits.

Very nice ... I'm _green_ with envy.
I can see it now ... the cast of Xena performing The Wizard of Oz. The harpies become the flying monkeys .... Hope, the Wicked Witch of the West & Gabrielle as Glinda, the Good Witch of the North.

The picture is awesome....*wishes I had some talent in something arty* I really liked the idea of starting out with the green paper rather than the white. I think it gives the 'green' skin more dankness...if that's a word
Oh but waiting there's more for the Oz cast....
Eli as Glinda the good witch of the north
Joxer as the scarecrow
The Archangels as the munchkins

The colors sort of remind me of those old Hammer horror films from the fifties and sixties. Hmmmm. Maybe I should stick Peter Cushing in there some were.... Nah.

Nice and evil, Rsine.
XWP does a spoof of the Wizard of Oz; that woulda been cool, no?
I like Salmoneous as the Wizard, Joxer as the Cowardly Lion, Alti as the Wicked Witch, Xena as the Tin Woman, (trying to find her heart), and Gabs as Dorothy. Aprhodite as Glinda? Perhaps Auntie Em?
The rabid bunny as Toto?

Hi...Thanks Joxee, but the OWAM film on Renee's site is rather small. The one I downloaded cam be seen full monitor screen. Also end titles including thanks to various people including one Miles Muir and another gentleman of the same surname.

I forgot. I tried that link I gave for the film, and Either it's wrong or I lost it. Just go to google, and hit Eric Escobar. You'll find the google player on the 1st page, and the actual download near the top of the second.
