That's cute, Rick. Even with a black and white doodle, she's got some great highlights in her hair. You really should start exhibiting your art. You might sell quite a bit, because you've gotten really good!

It is great. The smudges, from what I can tell, look purposeful. You are good, and should really stop clarifying and belittling your work. Belittle top heavy, though, no? Must account for her bending stance so she doesn't fall over from the weight of the things. Ah...a pose I know well. LMAO. Pfft. Yeah, right.
You know I am just teasing, right?
About belittling your own work, I mean.

Actually it dosen't bother me that it got a bit smudged. I wanted to draw something but I didn't want to start something really involved so I just sketched that on a regular piece of 9 by 12 sketch pad paper. It wasen't really something I took seriously.

You're too hard on yourself. The smudges just give it a smoky look. Besides, you can edit them out with a graphics editor and sell them at Cafe Press. I was thinking the same thing. What do you mean yeah right? You're HUGE! *snicker* You should take it seriously. Submit it to Cafe Press. Pronto. ;D

I tried using Cafepress and although my artwork came out looking fine when downloaded, once I added it on the products, they suddenly appeared heavily distorted. I emailed them and told them about the problem but I never got a response. I also checked they're (Cafepress) message board and apparently other people who have added the artwork on products had the same distortion problem.

If you put an image on a product with a size requirement bigger or smaller than the image you uploaded, than there will be distortions. The images need to be sized for the product you put them on, so you can have one image uploaded several times in various sizes. You put the size image on the product that its size is required for.

Yeah, that's what the customer told me this weekend upon noticing my "big guns", as he called them. He asked to feel, but had to settle for watching them in action.....
....talking about my biceps.
Didn't I mention I think that is why the woman in the drawing is bent over?

Well, I've opened a shop at Cafepress but I don't see my shop listed among the new stores or anywere. Either I'm forgetting something or it takes a few days.

I think you have to add them to a category...

Oh... okay... It took mine a couple of days to show up, so it should show up... however if it's in a popular category, it could end up being pushed back by others that were recently created too.
I created the freeweb site to try and get attention that way too. It hasn't shown up on google yet though.
