Joxie, one day I am going to randomly post questions in all kinds of threads to see if you can keep up.
Ok off to see if I can whip up a post.

TEXTSlowly, a lone wolf tries to slink by everyone, but to no avail.
Hey everyone. Sorry I haven't been around. Life's been busy, and I haven't been using the internet all that often. I'm just now printing out the latest posts. Hopefully they'll give me some inspiration to get me writing again. Eventually Blackwolf will stop following Sumire and actually do something. We'll have to wait and see what now.
Talk to ya'll later.

How do I make my banner appear?
P.S. I printed out the entirety of page 15 of the story with the exception of the first three posts, and it comes out to twelve pages in 10 font. Just thought that was interesting to share.

I JUST posted this and it went a-way... uno mas tiempo...
What I said was...with my Vassaly post I hope that I have removed the log jam to moving the story forward. Vassaly is effectively written out (in more ways than one) and the Romans, sans their now deceased leader, are gone as well. Maybe Zena can now get some rest.

Well EG, I'm not sure that Vassaly was the log jam but it looks like we are moving toward packing up again. Zzzzzzzz. Oh! Did I fall asleep while writing?

Holy cats! I sure got busy after I left. I have caught up and am looking forward to getting together with Blackwolf to see how the next installment works out. ;D Oh, and btw, I'm back from vacation. So EG please resend me your ideas about a new banner and lets get this party started! Yeah, and you too Phalon, you did mention a while ago that you now wanted a banner...c'mon...you know you do... See you around, Red

Hope your vacation was a good one, Red. Hhmmm, the banner, eh? I shall think.
Nice posts all. I'm glad I didn't get a chance to post the other night when I said I would. What I had in mind would have ruined Vassalyh's last post. Let's see if I can get in what I have in mind for our seeress next. I suppose I'd better get typing...soon.
Good to see Blackwolf again.
Hope you all enjoy your last weekend of summer.

Zena...I've never asked anyone to do this, and feel kinda funny about it, but...I wonder if you can hold off on posting next if you have anything in the works? Just to lend continuity to the sequence of events...I promise the post I have in mind won't change anything you may have in mind. I also promise to work on it tonight. Really. I guess I'm too nit-picky, but I have this thing about events following some kind of chronological order.
I'm really sorry about the anal retentiveness of this request.

Phalon, you are too funny! No problem, Team work is good. I also must admit that I am not sure what to do next (maybe your post will help) and I have returned to grad school classes so that means I am already working on a paper! So scroll away!
EG - nice images, as always.

Thanks, Zena. I just wanted to catch you before you packed up your belongings, grabbed Gabby, and skipped town. My post wouldn't make much sense then. Sigh...unfortunately, a bit of a problem getting my thoughts in order...working on it though.
Good luck on your paper.
Evergreen - I like the old lady. A bit of a character, isn't she?

Zena, Vassaly was indeed NOT the log jam but in writing the post as a whole, I felt I removed what to do with the legion of Romans, the bad guy,and "Leara's" mother's quest to capture EG. I also sent Vassaly off to her own adventure and who surely will show up at another time if the story leads me to take her there. The EG travelogue is just a sidebar until Kaisa's houseguest pack their Amazon tote bags and move on...glad you like the old woman Phalon. She may play a significant tie-in to another's long ago post...quien sabe'. Waiting to see what you "dream up?"

Good work Phalon..a bit of reality in there between Mom and daughter? Nice. Soon I will post again with Zena's thoughts.
Yes EG you did sweep away the dangers and now the road is clear. That website was packed with stuff! I read somewhere that Amazons are everywhere. Think so? An Amazon totebag must be something in leather with spirals and feathers!

How did you know, Zena? When I first wrote in Kaisa, I patterned her after my mom, and much of the interaction between Kaisa and Phalon is so typical of our relationship - and that with all us kids. Mom is so fun to tease, and of course, throws back her more than her share of teasing back at us. Sarcastic, but good natured humor.
Actually, one of your most recents posts - the last sentence when Kaisa said to Vassaly, "What is it you want, dear" had me bursting out laughing, (although, I'm not sure it was intended to do so). I can't help but picture Mom whenever I read of Kaisa, and that line is sooo Mom...throw an exactly in there and it's perfect. "What exactly is it you want, dear". I'm sure I've heard that a thousand times.
Hope to finish the second part of my post tonight.

Hello. I am the writer formerly known as Gabbin. I posted Frieda Rose, the blind weaver. It has been a while. Anywho, there it is-sweet and short.

No waiting required, Gabbin. Good to see you back.

Hey G-Stick... I can set up a "Frieda Rose" account for you to post with if you'd like.... if not, that's okay too.

Okay, I finished the second part. Now only one teensy bit to do. A short post, actually having nothing to do with Phalon.
Night all.
Oh, and Red, (thanks, again!), made me this really cool banner that I can't wait to show off, but that'll have to wait until tomorrow also, cuz I can't get it to work.

Ooooooooooooo Phalon! Red triumphs again! The banner is beautiful..is that Lucy with green eyes? Uh, I mean Phalon... And thanks to Joxie for technical support. Somehow, the pieces that are close to our own reality stand out. They have a different feeling I think. That's how I feel about your Mom pieces, Phalon. Frieda Rose! Welcome back! And Blackwolf, I think I neglected you..good to have you sniffing around again!

How do you do that, Joxie? Thanks.
I'm not sure if it's Lucy, green eyes or not. I'd assume so - it sure looks like her. Red?

I cannot tell a lie, yes it is Xena. I always imaginged that Phalon has really striking eyes, and so I wanted to find a pair of eyes that came close to what I see in my imagination. Because her eyes are so clear in the image in question, giving her the green "contacts" was pretty easy. I'm really glad that you like the banner, it makes me happy. Now I just need to get with EG so that she can be happy too. Besides that, the last couple days have not been entirely easy for me, between my truck in the shop and the runaround I had at school trying to get into a class, so give me a little time to get my act together, catch up with the homework I missed, and I'll be able to start working on my next posts. Take care, it's good to see everyone back, and have a good weekend, Red

Lucy certainly does have striking eyes, for sure.
Joxie - but how'd you get the code, is my question.
Looking forward to your next post, Red. Take your time. Hope things get smoother for you real soon.

I found the code in a PM that was sent to me.

Hey Phalon, you asked Jox how she got the code to put up your banner...thought I could answer the question, since it's the same code for all of the banners I have provided (including my own). It's the same code I included in the message I sent to you, minus the spaces I put in so that the code would show up for you. It can be broken down like this...I'll start from the outside in. (for this demonstration, the [] have been replaced by {}) First comes the center tag. So that the banner, well, sits in the center of the sig area. {center} If not notice, each of the banners is hot, and will take a person to the Zena Scroll's page. So the link tag is next. {link=http://www.something.com} Then you have to place inside the link tag, which can be a word, a setence, or an image. In this case, it was an image, which is served from my AOL space (hense the funky web address). {img}http://imageonmyserver.jpg Now that you've opened three tags, you have to close them, this you work from the inside out. A closing tag is marked by the / (backslash). So first is the image. {/img} Next is the link, so that only the image is hot. {/img} And finally, the center tag, because you don't want everything below your image to be centered. {/center} When you put it all together, it should look something like this (remember, the [] have been replaced by {}) {center} {link=http://www.something.com} {img}http://imageonmyserver.jpg{/img} {/link} {/center} See? I hope that helps, if it doesn't, let me know, and I'll either a) answer the right question, or b) try to do it better. Take care, Red PS, for some reason, Proboards made imageonmyserver.jpg a hot link, though it's something I made up for demonstration purposes. PPS, yes I cannot tell a lie, I did send the code to Jox...since she fixed mine, along with Blackwolf, EG and Zena, I figured it would just be easier to let the mistress to it. ;D

Red: About the only response I have to your last BB post is oookaaaaay...cyber magic to me. I have some ideas in my head for a new banner. I love Phalon's...it is bright with good color visual contrast. I LOVE the eyes! Great work! I will send you an e-mail to your home address soon with some ideas. My original banner is great work, but I cannot help but think Ghost in the Shell everytime I see it. Glad your back...good to see you back too BW. EG
