Phalon, Stop me if we once discussed this, but do you write professionally? I know you are both a part time librarian and landscape artist but I can't believe you don't also write books. Your writing captures the intricasies of the human mind and spirit - as St. Paul says, those things we do that we do not wish to do. Congratulations on your latest piece, it was a joy to read and makes me long for a moment to pick up quill and scroll and carry on with the story.

<blush>
Thanks, Zena, for the compliment.
No, except for the occasional article for a local gardening newsletter, the only place I write is here, on this board. My first ever attempt at creative writing was when I jumped into the Scrolls. It is because of writing in this story that my writing has developed into more than, "She went to see Frieda. Frieda was mad." It is the interaction with the writers here, (and in the other story on this board); playing off those writers' characters, that makes writing so enjoyable for me.
So pick up your quill, and get writing. I'm sure Phalon will catch up with Zena and her horse riders eventually.
Oh, and btw - I think the last time we discussed this was after I made a rather imaginative ridiculous post regarding penguins, and you asked if I wrote children's books. I've got a few of those stories floating around, but not quite sure what to do with them. I suppose actually getting them down on paper and out of my head might be a start.
Thanks again.

What a great post Phalon! It flowed so smoothly and I loved the cadence of your words. Like Zena, I feel that I need to find my quill. I read what you all write and yet, I find that I have somewhere lost Evergreen's substance. I guess it will take Zena to find her...and me...to write again.
Again, your post was so enjoyable. Thank you for sharing your words in such an eloquent way. EG (Linda)

Thanks, Evergreen. Don't forget though, please, that Gabbin helped on this one. Without her insight into Frieda, it would have come out sounding....what...contrived, I guess is the word I'm looking for.

Well just add my voice to the general din of "Phalon, you rawk!"
Your posts only get better and better, Phalon. If Zena suggested it in her post I'll just come out and holler it, subtleties aside: Dangit, girl, you gots ta write professionally!
It's good hear Gabbin was in on that hot blind chick splattered in mud post. ...of course I kid. It's good to know G-stick is behind the scene.

Trix - dang. I just put my snow shovel away, having dug myself out for the last time this year.
Ah well....thanks. I really mean that.
And yes, Gabbin needs to get out from behind the scenes, and get up front. If I can do "Frieda goes ballistic", I'm sure she can follow with "Phalon is a lunatic", or "the town goes beserk".

Are you out for blood, Joxie? Yeah, yeah...a typo negative, and what would you expect working with a bunch of Bacchaes?
Should read,

Marvelous, Zena! Glad to see you've dipped the quill in the ink once more.
Trix - one question. I noticed your Sumire banner is missing the quote, but the Trix banner still has it. What's up with that? Love that quote.
Hello to everyone else.

Whoa Zena... Not only surprised Sumire but surprised me as well! I missed that little post. (I s'pose putting in all that overtime at work at the end of the month can't help either..) Good Job. I'll see if I can't get something up soonz. Trix - one question. I noticed your Sumire banner is missing the quote, but the Trix banner still has it. What's up with that? Love that quote. That is a very good question, Phalon. I think the banner under the Sumire post's was the first version or something. I forgot that they were different. I guess I could change Sumire's banner.. but I kinda like the idea of having different banners for each. I did a little sketch the other day that's given me an idea....

I guess I am guilty of hit and run writing Sumire and Trix! Did you all know that Zena invented that reduction technique for dislocated shoulders? It's carved on the peristyle of the Parthenon.

How am I not surprised about that Zena...I just stopped by to check out the place...Looks like you all are doing well and the story is flourishing. Hope you all are having fun...I miss it lots but am afraid I will never catch up. I plan on grabbing a nice cup of tea and reading all I can though...Now where was I? I have no idea where I even left my character. I think staring out a window or something. Raining and ares sword about...I think that was over a year ago...Scary how time flies. Keep up the good work...GP

Doing well. And thank you for asking.
Has it really been a year and a half? OMG, and the time-frame of the story has only progressed a day! LMAO. The title of chapter three should possibly be, "The Longest Week Ever".

I was just thinking that. I am now on page 18 and you are just waking up to someone with your sword. I had a nice little storyline start as if time has passed, but it looks like that wont work cause it hasn't...giggle. Glad you are well. We were thinking of you the other day while looking at flowers and plants at the local nursery. Wondering how you were faring. Glad to see you still writing and enjoying it.

Oh my sword and chakram, Puella Virium! It's soooo nice to hear from you. I was just thinking of you and how you were still standing at the window. it seems that we have adopted the plan of just not talking about anyone who stops writing. It's as if they disappear - it seems easier than explaining where they went. I hope you can find a way to "flashback" and explain. There is a hidden agenda there - I'm hopig you want to write again!
