What name would you like to use as a tribe name? We should have a name prior to our first challenge on Thursday, October 29. So make your suggestions here! The theme this year is superstition, fire, volcanos. Irene

Is that important, what that name means or is that equal? Shall that name choosen by a weapon, godess or a ancient queen/warior?! Or is that equal too?! In that case, i´ve alot of names... ;D You can post what you wish and if it has some meaning tell us the meaning too!

at first we got there the name for the famoust greek godess like there is ( which the real anciient amazons worship) : - Athena - Artemis - Eirene Then we got the famoust amazonqueens like there is: - Penthesilea, which fought with king priamos in troy and would killed by archilles. Archilles falled in love to her as she´s going to die. She is almost dead since 5000 years. The gods and godess, as there is: - Ares, God of war and lover from Aphrodite, father of her son Eros ( Cupid ) - Poseidon, son of Kronos and Rhea, brother from Zeus - Zeus, youngest son of Kronos and Rhea - Eris, the godess of disharmony and quarrel Of course we got yet all the greek heroes... if you wanna read them all, then PM. It needs to long... there are so many... ;D And thousand other names are in my head yet.

In keeping with the Xena/Amazon theme I vote for some form of the following:
Graine Ni Maille: She was an Irish female warior in the late 1500's
Boudicca of the Iceni: Celtic Queen who kicked the Roman's butts
Tamara: Queen who led troops to conquer parts of Turky, Prussia, and Russia
Or are we picking actual tribe names? If that's the case I vote for one of these:
Dumna Scetis Caereni (this one means "tribe") Smertae (this one too)

Uhm, scrappy... Boadicea lost aganist the romish legions. She has had 20.000 warriors and the romish troops was 3500 soldiers strong. And she has lost. Like the perians against the greeks. Like the romish legions against the germans. And so on, and so on.... But maybe we should make a poll with all names and then we vote...

Who wants to make the poll? If it's more than about five choices you'll have to list each name separately and wel'll have to reply with our vote. Go Ahead and make a new thread! Irene

Hmm, I like Caereni Scrappy I've got Cinneadh (which is similar and also means tribe) and also Firead (meaning fire) and Giseag (meaning superstition) Don't know what anyone thinks of those... I'm quite up for it being something Celtic...but I'm biased because that's my heritage!

If you use the POLL feature here you have 8 choices. We should put the poll up today! Someone feel free to do so. Dumna (means?) Scetis (means ?) Caereni (this one means "tribe") Smertae (this one too) Cinneadh (means tribe) Firead (meaning fire) Giseag (meaning superstition) WHOOSH (sound of chakram) Are these good? There are two listed that I don't have the meaning.... Then we can put up the poll thread! Irene

Sorry I neglected the first two. Dumna means roughly "from the Isle of Lewis". And Scetis is "From the Isle of Skye". I also must admit that I made a mistake......the other ones that I said meant "tribe" actually are celtic tribe names. Sorry for the mistake. I picked them because I also am partial to Celtic names.....
