Thanks for the articles, but the second one seems a repeat of another article I read about John Hannah. Also it says something which is not true, that he will be back in Season 2. How can he possibly come back if Batiatus is dead? His throat was cut open. I think they misinterpreted what he said in the other article before the last episode was shown.

Sura was in episodes after her death, so I'm sure others who have died could also show up in future eps.

I can't wait either. I'm also glad that Andrew is doing well, and season 2 will go into production soon.

Yes. I thought no news was good news and that we'd soon learn he had beat it once again. Should have realized why they were being so hush hush about his condition. It was such a complete sock to find out it was that bad.

Lucy's site says not to copy/paste info from the website to anywhere else, but I think she'd make an exception for this:

Getting ready to watch the new episode!

My sis and her husband have watched "Spartacus" since episode one, but are quitting. They say the show, which was already difficult for them to stomach at times, has gotten so explicitly sexual and gory in the new season, they are going to stop watching. They love the intrigue of the show, and the characters, but are turned off by what they think is over-the-line adult content.
I have no opinion, as I can't see the show. Anyone opinions here?

I haven't watched the show Siren - as much as I like LL, I'm not especially interested in p*rn be it soft or hard, and the descriptions I got about the show put it in the soft-wishing-they-could-show-more category. I don't have problems with people watching what ever is legal, but it's not for me. The few flashes of the show I ran into sort of confirmed the flesh and guts that I'd heard about so, even with LL, I won't be watching this year either.

I agree, Step. I was almost put off the "Underworld" series after the second film for the same reason - too explicitly sexy and violent.
My sis was disappointed to report that Lucy did a topless scene. I'm disappointed, too. And I'm puzzled that her own husband is one of the people behind the series, and would put her in that position. She's her own person, and could have declined. But still, I can't understand how a person could put their own spouse on display like that, the same way Kate Beckinsale's husband did in the second "Underworld" film. I don't recall that Kate was topless, but the scene was explicit.

Well, I guess that's one of the reasons it's not on regular TV. It is very violent & sexually explicit but that was the nature of that period in history. Everyone knows the Romans were not shy nor inhibited in any way, shape or form. I think the writing is great--altho this season is definitely missing something--mainly in the character of John Hannah's Baitiatus. The acting is amazing & if I were wanting to watch porn, Spartacus wouldn't be my choice to get the job done. I don't know. I like it but I can see how it wouldn't appeal to everyone. (And you can watch full eps online at Starz.com)

Very little sex in this week's ep, but plenty of blood!
