Yes, I agree; the Sturgeon General has determined magic fish is bad for your health.
But magic chocolate from the magic forest, which suddenly appears in chip form, and baked into cookies.....put Phalon down for half a dozen.

Why would I want to put Phalon down? I like her! Is she old? Is she sick? Oh! Was it the magic fish? I knew there was something fishy about that magic fish! And now I find out it's chocolate magic fish cookies? EWWWWWWWW

Well, not put her down permanently, Nut....just for a few days maybe....like a nice, relaxing spa treatment; she deserves it.
And eewww on the chocolate magic fish cookies. Who would make such a thing; wasting chocolate in fish cookies is just bassinine!

Psst...we'd better quit with the fish jokes Madam P. Moonglum is tired of us carping on them. Personally I'm not that Koi, I say carpe Diem! Seize the fish jokes! We're never too young to get schooled in the ways of the magic fish.
Tuna in next week when you'll hear Scrappy proclaim: "To Beta or not to Beta that is the goldfish!"

Okay ... I have taken care of the fish!
And for those who have no idea what's up with the leeches and the mud, you need to read chapter one of "The Zena Scrolls". Ha! Gonna make ya read it ...

I thought I'd let the bards know that I was in the middle of negotiating the rights to have the story trains put on the big screen ... or little screen ... I wasn't picky ... but, alas, a cat fight on my back porch woke me up and I've been unable to reconnect with that individual as of yet. Cross your fingers guys, we're in for the big time.

Some exciting goings on here today. How come I miss all the good stuff while I'm away at work.
My apologies to Moonglum for taking the liberty of using bits and pieces of his posts from the House of Whoosher. I really needed a way to tie this together - to figure out how Scrappy and I would recognize Jason, and you gave me the perfect in with the line "Touch her and I'll kill you" - it was so similar to "Stay out of my way or I'll kill you" that I couldn't resist.
Another sorry, Moonglum, for changing your proper name "Jason", to the pronoun "he" in what you had written in the other story. I just felt Phalon wouldn't have made the connection between the Jason there, (I'm not sure we ever even knew your name), and the Jason here.
Flog me with a wet fish if you so deem it necessary.

Oh man here we go again with the fish!
Fish and guests smell after three days.
Good job madam P. Got another one or is it my turn? Picking Ellei up of the grass being the first order of business.

Thanks, Vox. I hope your other half isn't too upset.
Smelly fish in the Scrolls, and black pots in the House can both be smoked after three days, but shouldn't. They'd leave the air reeking, which would upset the guests.
Got nothin', Poppet. Although sometime real soon, Phalon's going to need to tell Scrappy she recognized Jason from the house. Too coincidental to be ignored that he showed up in both places, I'm thinking. I'll leave that up to you - I've gotta switch gears and go from writing fantasy fiction to boring nonfiction here in the next few days, (keep your fingers crossed....hopefully I'll get paid for this one).
Oh, and don't forget......
After Ellie is standing and dusted off, there's a wounded wolf that needs attention.
Sorry, Aphrodite....it was late when I posted last night...too late, in fact, and I missed welcoming you to the story. So welcome to the story!
