I knew I was an adult when I threw up all night long, making as much noise as I could, and my parents (mom) slept through it.  So much for someone getting me a cold, wet rag and holding it to my head while it was hanging over the toilet seat.  And there was no jello in the frig the next morning.

You know you're getting older when your teenage daughter dresses "Retro" and searches your closet for clothing that should have been tossed decades ago. She then claims that your retro is too retro to be considered "Retro".

Been there, done it Phalon! Luckily my daughters are a bit bigger than me, also they are a bit older than your daughters and they cannot go through my closet. Mind you, saying that, that's exactly what my eldest Granddaughter does when she comes to stay!
Definitely giving my age away now!!!

heh, that's about the same time I realized I was an adult, Mia. you know you're getting older when... you look for your sunglasses for an hour only to discover they were on top of your head the whole time (lol, I'm this forgetful and I'm not even old!) |

BOLL!!! You know you are waaaaay old when people start talking about how young they were when the Berlin Wall fell, and you not only remember where you were, but you also have a piece of it (somewhere) because a friend of yours was there for the official celebration afterward - the one with Pink Floyd performing "The Wall" which was recorded years before, and which was one of your favorite albums which you still have (somewhere), but can't play anymore because there's no such things as turn-tables. Oh, and David Hasselhof, which no one but the aged remembers from anything but being an "America's Got Talent" (which he doesn't) judge, claimed he brought down the wall, (huge eye-roll), cuz he sang too. But nobody listened.
However, you do not remember exactly how old you were because it happened so long ago, and with age memory fades. (But I'm sure I was twenty-something...I believe)
