Don't read any further than here if you haven't seen this movie and don't like spoilers.

The movie had been on for about an hour when I saw it listed in the grid. Thankfully it was on the east feed and so I watched it when it came on on the west feed. At first I thought I had made a mistake. I didn't like not being able to see V's facial expressions, but _that voice_ pulled me in and I couldn't turn the channel. My only complaint is that he tricked Evie into thinking she was in the hands of the authorities. I couldn't see her forgiving him like that. I know she was grateful that she was safe, and wasn't going to die, but still, to not want to bash his face in threw me for a loop.
I think I'm gonna rent the DVD so I can see the extras.

I saw this movie, and enjoyed it. But I don't remember many details at this point. Like you, I had a problem with dialogue coming from that immovable mask. But it must not have bothered me too much. Here's my review, from the "Favorite Movies" thread:
Saw "V for Vendetta" last night, and was impressed. I'm not a very analytical viewer, so I won't go into all the political aspects of the film. But in basic terms, it's a story of loss and love and trust and courage. It moved me, and kept me interested for over 2 hours.
Natalie Portman is very good as frightened young citizen of a totalitarian society. A masked freedom fighter is at first, her rescuer, then her friend and teacher.
See? I told you I'm not very analytical. But I can recommend this film.

This script is totally different from the actual movie.
