So we have to make our own interpretations of a Xena episode?

You don't have to. You can read the old comments linked in the first post and (quote) comment on them if you'd like ... or pick an ep to comment on.
If there were enough members, I'd say break out the DVDs and pick a day/night to watch and discuss. But I don't think there's enough for that, sadly.

I wouldn't mind discussing some of the old eps at all Joxie, but as you said, there's awfully few of us - and we're posting mostly on off topic.

I've been having a Roswell marathon the last two weeks. I watched all 3 seasons, and then watched all 3 seasons again. I was just thinking of seeing how many would be interested in breaking out the Herc/Xena DVDs/VHSs and discussing them.
I was trying to decide how best to go about it. One ep per day or per week? Two eps per week? And then I though perhaps we'd start out with one per week ... but if the conversation died out, we'd start the next ep then.
Any thoughts?
Like: What day is best to start the conversation? Sun. Mon. Tues. Weds. Thurs. Fri. Sat.? What is the best day for you to take time to view an ep? View once, or multiple times before discussing? Start with Herc? All 5 movies, and then season one, then one ep of Herc and Xena each, at the same time ... as when they aired together?
I know there aren't that many of us, so I'm not expecting this to really happen. But if 3 or more are interested, then maybe it just might be possible.
BTW: You can watch both Herc & Xena online at Netflix.com, and Xena online at Hulu.com. There's a monthly charge for both sites though. I'm sure that other sites similar to Netflix.com have one or both of them. I don't have iTunes, but maybe the eps can be purchased/viewed there? Anyone know? Post the info if you do.
Sadly, the new season one DVD boxset of Hercules no longer includes the 5 movies. I didn't find any of them at Netflix.com, but I did find one DVD with 'Amazon Women / Lost Kingdom' at Blockbuster.com. If some of you are like me, you have the seasons taped from TV ... and if you do, you can watch the movies from them.
Okay. Weigh in ... NOW!

Well I am already watching Xena and I am on season 4. I actually want to go forward till the end not starting from the beginning. I can discuss them anyway. About Herc, I have no intention on watching it, as I don't like it. I only watched the cross over with Xena.

Well, you may finish all 6 seasons by the time this chat gets started, if it gets started. I think there should be at least 3 or 4 members joining in before actually beginning this project.
Okay. Which crossovers do you feel _have_ to be included, and which do you feel can be left out? Because only about 6 Herc eps really need to be included, IMHO. I have them listed in the post above this one. Now, that doesn't necessarily mean we have to discuss them, really. Just that to understand how Callisto -and- Callisto & Hope got from point A to point B, certain eps need to be watched. The Xena trilogy most definitely should be discussed. Surprise and Armageddon I & I, not so much.

And BTW: If enough members want to discuss Hercules, that discussion can start after the end of season 6 of Xena.

I don't know if I could post as much/often as I did back then, Jox. But what a treat, re-reading the old posts! I'm sure I laughed as much as I did when I first read them. Those WERE the days!

Well, if we took it one ep per week, perhaps that would help give some the time they need to post. I'll let everyone think it over and then let me know if they want to give it a go. And when would be the best week to start. Middle/End of January, maybe the beginning of February?

We can start wherever you want. About Xena, I am on The Key to the Kingdom. About Herc cross overs I already watched Hercules and Amazon Women, The Warrior Princess Trilogy, Outcast, Surprise, The Golden Hind Trilogy, Stranger in a Strange World, Armageddon Now 1 and 2.

Okay, then, Whoosh members, let me get an "I" from those wanting to start this puppy up. And include any feedback you may have.

So it's ok if we already watched the episodes previously? I can comment them anyway as I remember them.

Sure. I say watch the DVDs because I haven't seen the eps in ages, so I'll need to watch in order to refresh my memory. I just assumed there might be others who haven't seen them in a long time too. If you've seen them recently, or if you feel there's no need to refresh your memory, that's fine with me.
