....that commerical with the rabid, possessed, glowing red-eyed deer?
A couple is walking through the forest and come upon a deer grazing. It sees the couple, its eyes glow red, and it attacks in a rabid, possessed manner. The guy battles it and wins. It's a deodorant commercial – I don't know which brand; it’s something I don’t use. Shhhh….that’s my little Secret. (just kidding - a little pun there, see?)
Anyway....everytime we see it, Hubs, (who has seen maybe three Xena episodes total), and I crack up, reminded of Gabrielle fighting the saber-toothed bunny in In Sickness and Hell. I wonder if her deordorant held up well. Shame she lost the bunny battle; maybe she should switch brands.

I've not seen it yet. I have seen the one for car insurance where a guy walking runs over a deer, they struggle, and then both run away. Or something like that. It's been a while since I've seen it.

Hi everybody. sorry for inactivity, busy with some video, and writing (editing other peoples stuff, other excuses, and keeping all the pieces together. So right, have alway loved Gabs encounter with a killer bunny. I had another reminder in media about the show, recently, in a promo ad for a movie called 'Grindhouse', some sort of homage to the old B movies in the 50's and 60's (usually seen at midnite shows). I understand Zoe Bell is in this movie. thes ad in I refer to features a dark, tough looking woman riding a Harley with a small blonde woman riding behind. A nice touch of deja vu, and think I'll see if the film is still showing locally. BWT, Lucy has been here in Vancouver a few times lately, filming and/or seeing friends. Also I looking forward to seeing Renee of the screen (or TV or DVD) sometime soon. Meanwhile I still get out my XWP DVD's in the AM when I can't sleep and TV is more boring than usual; it makes me realize that TV can't always be that TV can't all be that bad, and once in a while it's very good. Sometimes. Best wishes and regard to everyone at Woosh. Rejean
