This probably isn't news to many Whooshites, but it is to me. I spotted this in "Pop Candy", a pop culture blog I read each weekday in USA Today. Scroll down a bit, and you 'll find this post, with a link to the DVD's website. blogs.usatoday.com/popcandy/"It's a very good day for DVDs, so if you're stuck at home this weekend, don't worry! Here's a rundown of the best: Release o' the week: Justice League: The New Frontier. I mentioned Darwyn Cooke's New Frontier among my essential reads in my Comics Crash Course. This animated feature is based on that book, and adults may appreciate it even more than their kids. (It's rated PG-13.) The 75-minute flick explores the creation of the Justice League and takes place during the Cold War. My reasons for watching it could go on and on: gorgeous animation, tons of extras (two commentaries, a documentary, more), voices by David Boreanaz, LUCY LAWLESS, Brooke Shields, Neil Patrick Harris and others. It's a refreshing step back in time that may inspire you to go comics shopping afterward." www.warnervideo.com/jlnewfrontier/~~~~~~~~~~ I always thought LL would make a cool Wonder Woman. I guess this is as close as we'll get. But still, it's awesome that she's voicing my all-time favorite superhero!

It was news to me too, Siren. I am woefully out of tune when it comes to pop culture news.
Even without having read your post first, though, I would have been able to pick out who was behind the voice of Wonder Woman in "Justice League". A advertisement for the movie appeared on television yesterday, and even though I wasn't watching the T.V. at the time, and I didn't hear exactly the phrase yelled in a rallying warcry-type tone, the sound of that voice is unmistakeable!
When I told LX that the voice was Lucy's, she brought up kind of a neat thing; she said she'd love to see the "extras" following the movie when it's released on DVD. She said it'd be cool to watch Lucy stand in front of a microphone 'acting' out her lines as Wonder Woman. I think that'd be fun to watch also.
