You certainly got my attention Lady P ............. strewth get me an application form quick, a man would be more then willing to come out of retirement for a "job" like that.
A couple of minor problems, according to the job description the successful applicant must be an "excellent communicator and be able to speak and write English."
Well it doesn't say anything about being able to speak and write English "well" so I might be able to get away with that one, as for the excellent communicator, are you available for a crash teaching course to get me up to speed ............. 25% of my remuneration package if I'm successful in landing the job.

Twenty-five percent, eh, Katina? Sure, it sounds good. English is my second language, you know.
Nobody has ever been able to figure out my first.

Thanks Jox, sounds like a bit of a cross between The Last Of The Mohicans and Doctor Quinn from the links you provided, and you'd be right about my interest, one of my favourite periods in history.
Not sure if it's your cup of tea but if so you should try getting your hands on a novel called "Sacawajea" an excellent read, doubt if it's still available as it was many many years ago that I read it, guess the library may have a copy though.
