I've been wanting to see this since I first saw it advertised (seems like over a month ago). My friends and I planned a girls' night - dinner and a movie - but it still hasn't come here yet. I hope it's not one of those movies that never makes it to our little theater in town.

Mom has seen it, and she loved it. I loved the book. Ron Howard's daughter is in it.

Tonight's the night...not a Girls' Night; it kind of evolved into an Everyone and Their Brother Night. Should be fun.

Oh-my-gosh! Excellent movie. BP warned me I was going to need tissues (she saw it with the neighbors this past weekend). She was right; I boo-hooed through the happy parts, and cried during the sad parts.
It's one I'll definitely watch again when it comes out on DVD, and looking forward to reading the book. I prefer to read books after I see the movie; if I read them first, I'm usually disappointed with the film....although, in this case, I'm not sure I would have been.

I'll probably see the movie when it comes out on DVD ... and can't wait. (Ron Howard's [Opie] daughter ate the pie. )
