Many think The Hearse Song was just a silly children’s' song, there are records of it going back as far as British soldiers in the Crimean War, and it was recorded for posterity in several song books from WW-I. (I'll leave out the icky parts for those with delicate sensibilities.) Remarkably, I can't say that any major recording artist has adapted this little ditty for as a production number.
