Hi Guys! Stepper here - which I'm sure is a big surprise. I don't know what's happening but I've got a problem. The system says it has me signed on, except all I can do is view posts. I don't seem to be able to post anything. I'm not ignoring the boards, I just can't get anything to happen. I'll try again another day.

Aw, Stepper! I'm sorry you can't get in, (psst....you're leaving smudges on the window panes; Joxie's gonna make you clean 'em, you know).
I can't do anything to help, but here....just so you don't go hungry while waiting, I've brought a big plate of chocolate chip cookies, and a nice cold glass of milk to help you pass the time.
And a nice, warm comfy blanket too.
Hurry back!

Officially, the story never had a plot. I made a post, then others added to it. As far as where the story is headed, no one knows. Well, others may know, but I still don't. I just go with the flow and hope that there's a plot in there somewhere. If you see a plot, good-on-ya. If there is a plot there, it is a subconscious effort on my part. I've no idea where I'm going with it. Other bards might though, so maybe they've added the plot while I wasn't looking.

Plot? What plot? I think the only plot in that story were the plots out back in the graveyard.
It was loads of fun though. Glad you're enjoying.

No, no, Ellie...don't go looking for holes, because I'm sure there are plenty. If it seems like there was a plot in The House of Whoosher (subtitle: The Plot That Wasn't) that's cool because we made it up as we went along. It's kind of neat that someone coming in afterward and reading would think the story actually had a plot. It fun to think that all those laughable moments trying to figure out "what happens next?" and "how the hell am I going to get my character out of this situation" actually makes sense to a reader.
Or maybe they don't, but rather fit into the plot. That wasn't. Yes, yes....that was the plot! The House of Whoosher - a haunted house mystery where guests search in vain for the ever-elusive plot. See? We knew what we were doing all along!

the negative effect hurts my eyes and my computer is a pain in the butt and won't turn the negative effect off. Have you tried downloading and using Mozilla Firefox, Ellie. You don't get the negative effect with that. I won't use IE at all anymore, much prefer Firefox. It's free online and you can set it as your default browser.

Ellie: Mozilla Firefox blocks the negative effect, if you think you might like to try using it for that board. You can also click on the "print" option, and the negative effect doesn't work on that page. [] Whenever I'm reading on websites that has light font on a dark background I "Ctrl+A" to highlight everything, and that helps save my eyes.

I've got a handwritten post waiting to be typed up, and will hopefully have it up soon. (India Ana) I also have an idea for a Joxcee post in my head, and plan to have it up in the next day or two. (If I don't procrastinate. Which I'm very good at.)

This is really cool! Since it's not marked which Wrapping Elf, though I believe I'm the only one of us who skis, I say we all go. Bundle up, everyone! Or at least come along for the men in the air-resistant speed suits! No? The hot chocolate then.
Thank you, Super Secret Santa!!!!

Hot Chocolate sounds heavenly ... and so does the men in the air-resistant speed suits ... just make sure we have dark glasses so we can ogle without giving ourselves away. Although, the drool just might expose us.
