i've been reading this story since right after phalon noticed ellie, and i love it. i'd been wanting to comment, but it won't let me register from my kindle, which is the only internet i have right now. wondering how scrappy plans to get her bike started in ancient greece, with no gasoline.

whoa whoa. i'm confused. ellie's posts said she didn't get back to where jason and letitia were until the next day. but scrappy's post said she arrived right after the four met, at night. so which is it?

As you can see we seem to be having timeline issues. That happens sometimes when you have more than a few people writing in the same story and also using other people's characters. I'm attempting to fix that in my post currently so that we are all in the same time of day.

Sarcasm.
Hey, Joxie....how come I can't see this thread when I'm logged in? (hence the no-so-disguised disguise in the name field...maybe I shoulda worn a mustache)

So the trolls and spammers can't disrupt the forum. Only the Admins and guests can see and post to the guesthouse. It was a new option with the last upgrade and that is when I opened this board back up on this forum instead of using my other forum for the guesthouse.

i'm still really lovin the story and am looking forward to finding out more about ellie's and vox's characters. flashback posts, maybe? that would be cool. but those are just my thoughts. keep up the good work, bards! :-D

Glad you're still hanging around Kindle User ... I hope Proboards adds a fix in their next upgrade that will allow you to join the forum. I'm sure if Kindle users, & Amazon, email them with such a request, they'll get on it asap. And if so, I look forward to your membership as soon as possible.

yeah i wish i could register. but as long as i can read as the scrolls unroll, it's all good. wish i could guess at the xena charades thing cuz i know the answer, but oh well. nother question... what happened to trenna? we only saw her in that one post, riding towards the sun, and we haven't seen her since. i hope we see her again, she seems interesting. k that's all from me tonight cuz my thumbs hurt.'

Yeah, I've been ignoring Trenna while I worked up posts for my other characters in 'The House of Whoosher' thread. I haven't quite figured out what to do with Trenna yet. Or how to get her in contact with the others.
You can learn more about her from "The Zena Scrolls". She's in chapter one. (Real Name: Joxcenia) And at the very end of chapter three. (Has amnesia and goes by Trenna.)
You'll learn all about Phalon in "The Zena Scrolls" too. And about Scrappy & Phalon and Jason & Letitia in "The House of Whoosher". If you view in IE, and the negative effect hurts your eyes, you can click on "Print" - and see it normally. Or hit control+a to highlight it. I highlight a lot of dark webpages to save my eyesight. Ack! You may not have the control+a option with Kindle. Sorry. Actually, the negative effect might not even register on a Kindle.
Glad you're enjoying your visits.

I had a thought today, Kindle User. You seem to be able to type in the code to post, so I was wondering if you'd be able to log into an account that was already set up. So I have a few questions, and suggestions:
1) Do you have an email addy? (DO NOT post it here.)
2) Can you access it with your Kindle?
If yes to both questions. Your suggestions:
1) Go to your local library (or a friend's house), and use their computer to get online and create an account here at Whoosh. (I have to give permission/approve your account before it can post.) Then, once you've been approved, try and see if you can log in and post with your Kindle.
2) Send me all the info needed to register an account, and I'll set it up for you. (DO NOT post that info here.)
Email me at: Joxcenia [at] yahoo.com
1) Username 2) Password (Which you can change at a later date. On your Kindle, or at the local library/friend's house.) 3) Email addy (if different from the one you emailed me with) 4) Birthday: Month, Day, Year
In header, type: Kindle User Wants A Whoosh Account. (So I know it isn't spam.)
Okay. We'll see if the registration page is the only thing keeping you from joining the fun.

Kindle User: Before you go to all that trouble, why don't you see if you can log into the visitor account I have set up at my "Illusive Muse" forum. If you can log in and post there, it will work here as well.
Go to: The Illusive Muse
And log in with:
Username: xxxxxxxx Password: xxxxxxxxx

That's too bad. But maybe if you and other Kindle users, and Amazon, send a request to Proboards, maybe they'll set that up for one of their later upgrades.

Okay. Trenna has posted. If you wanna know what's with the leeches and mud, you'll need to read chapter one of "The Zena Scrolls".

cool trenna post. and aphrodite's first post was awesome. totally uncalled for, though, having jason pull his sword on ellie when she was just trying to help. what do i know though. can't wait to see what happens next. with the war so close, i doubt jason and letitia will make it out of the area without being attacked. but that's just my thoughts.

Well ... Jason is very sensitive when it comes to Letitia. He just got her back after she was taken from him. You'll need to read "The House of Whoosher" to get their back story.

totally uncalled for, though, having jason pull his sword on ellie when she was just trying to help. what do i know though. lol, don't worry about it, kindle user. after having read the house of whoosher, i expected jason to react like that, and already had most of my new post written. it had to be tweaked a little, but it worked out perfectly. hope you like my newest post. keep reading!

LOVE the new posts! this is just my opinion, but wouldn't it be easier for scrappy to slightly edit her last post, rather than ellie to completely rewrite hers? it would only take like five seconds. just my thoughts though. feel free to ignore me. keep the awesome story going!

Phalon off her rocker

Thanks for reading, Kindle. Glad you're enjoying.
But I gotta disagree. Scrappy posted first - Ellie misread. It might be quicker for Scrappy to change her post, but it would then change her intended outcome.
For Ellie to change her post to correct the mistake in no way changes the outcome of her post - she's going to go see the Queen either way.
The question was meant for Phalon....and Phalon shall answer...eventually....soon, maybe.

Okay ... I'm gonna have to reread those, 'cause I didn't catch it.
And I agree with Phalon. If Scrappy asked the question of Phalon, then it means something to them that I'm assuming will lead to something in a future post.

I just want to make this clear. I posted the first time and apparently according to the Kindle user it wasn't clear enough that I was speaking soley to Phalon about where we needed to go. So I fixed it. Apologies for not then notifying you all of my quick fix.
Phalon and I have been discussing behind the scenes about what needs to happen next. Phalon needs to be the one to answer my question.

Well, I reread the post, but I don't know if it was before or after you edited. I didn't notice the editing stamp at the bottom of the post, anyway. I'm thinking that if you hadn't made it clear that you were talking to Phalon, that may be why I didn't notice the mix up during the first read through. Thanks for clearing that up, Scrappy. And thanks Kindle User for pointing it out so it could be made more clear.
Prattle On bards & readers.
