Survivor 14 will be filmed in Fiji
For its 14th season, Survivor will film in Fiji, staying in roughly the same part of the world as the Cook Islands, Survivor Maps reports. Citing reports from the islands, the site reports production on Survivor Fiji will begin at the end of this month, Oct. 30, the day before Halloween, meaning production will conclude in early December, right before the finale of Survivor Cook Islands. That’s nearly the exact same schedule as the season that filmed last fall, Survivor Panama. Survivor Maps notes that “Mark Burnett is no stranger to Fiji, in his earlier reincarnation, his Eco-Challenge raced there, and, during the filming of Cook Islands, many of the crew spent their days off in Fiji.” However, this location is somewhat different, as the “advance crew says that this is one of the most remote locations they have filmed,” and it may also be the most exciting, as “Tribal Council is rumored to be a ‘village setting’ on a river infested with dangerous Bull Sharks,” according to the site. There are conflicting reports as to exactly which islands or locations may be used for the series, including Nukuvadra Island, Vanua Levu, and the riverbank of the Langalanga River.
