E tv has a 2004 release of 101 Best Kept Hollywood Secrets 60 mins. Nos. 20 through 1 are spotlighted. Included: hidden facts involving Winona Ryder and Michael Jackson. Also: who came in second at the Academy Awards. Release Year: 2004 # 9 talks about Survivor. Would you believe that the tribe doesn't necessarily walk all that way to Tribal Council? I only caught a part of it yesterday Le. That's what they were saying that certain things are not as they appear. The air conditioned SUV was one. There was also a rumor when Stacey Stillman was voted off (S1)because there was pressure from MB to make the show go another way. That court case is still pending.
Certain challenges are recreated by Survivor Staff and Body Doubles because of the nature of camera angles not being able to be on top of every little thing. I'm just thinking it's minor stuff to edit it to make it look better.
If anyone catches the rerun on ETV and tapes it maybe we could do a transcript. It's not all that long.
Actually the show runs again today from 1-5 pm EST on ETV. So I think it should be in the 5 pm block as that would be the top 10 with Survivor being # 9.

Okay, now I looked and listened to the show a little more closely. 101 Hollywood Secrets doesn't necessarily give you the exact answer of some of them. Some give you the truth on the countdown, some give conjecture/ambiguity and never give you the final scoop.
However, I think it's safe to say that Mark Burnett does have to shoot portions of the show with doubles to get the shots he wants. The outright confession of one woman who talked to some survivors claimed she was told that they rode air conditioned SUV's to tribal council rather than that severl mile walk the audience is told they have to take.
So I do think things aren't exactly as they {MB} say.
