I this one... Have you thought of donating your artwork to charities that Lucy, Reneé & Hudson support... maybe they would even sign them before they were auctioned off.

I've been thinking about doing a new Kevin Smith one, sending it to Creation so they can have the celebs sign it and donated to the charity auction at next years Burbank con (I won't be attending) but I haven't decided.

That's an amazing pencil drawing rsine69! I'm impressed! Do you use prisma colors?

You have a wonderful, unique style, Rick! I don't know what it is about your work, but I can always tell it's yours. You've also improved over the last couple of years too, imo. It was good before, but this is fantastic! ;D I love all the different colors in her hair, and the shading on everything else as well. The reds and yellows in the background give this firey feel to it that just fits with the pose, and also brings out the great highlights in her hair. It's just a beautiful drawing all the way around. Keep up the great work!

Thanks everyone. I was just experimenting with a whole variety of colors just to see what I could come up with. I find that I enjoy working in color. The portrait was drawn in plain Crayola coloring pencils and the background was done using pastel sticks. They are very messy if you're not careful but they shade really well and the colors blend very well also.

Crayola coloring pencils? Dang, Rick, you could work with anything! The pastels I can see. I've dabbled with those before, but never with anything serious or worthwhile.
