Another Lucy portrait.

This one didn't turn out very well. But with all the time I spent on it, I didn't want to just throw it away so I added it onto my online photo album.

It's still a very nice portrait Rick. And it's tons better than what some put out there as art. I can't understand why people would pay millions for a canvas with paint slapped on it here and there in bright or dull colors. I've seen where works made my monkeys and elephants are sold as brillant pieces of art. If I ever feel the need to have a painting on my wall that is colors splatter and spread across a canvas, I'll save myself the money and create my own.

There ya go... I recently saw a story on a 5-year-old whose paintings sold for a large sum.

Originally I wanted to fix the eyes because Lucy's are so hard to draw. Look at a pic of her face straight on. You'll notice that her eyes appear to be different shapes. That's what always screws me up. Then after trying to get them to match as best I could I went through and used the computer to get rid of all those blemishes on the skin but I darkened it too much. I'll have to go through and work on the original drawing some more then rescan it but right now I want to work on my current Livia piece.
