visualdevice.blogspot.com/There's one Lucy Lawless drawing (two different versions) on this new image blog of mine... I'd like people to see it. The rest are mostly Doctor Who so far. I hope to do more Xena. Please tell me what you think, positive or negative!

I REALLY LOVE your work. Was that Lucy drawing from a photo from an issue of Maxim because it looks very familiar and if so, I think I might have a copy of that issue. I was gonna do some portraits of her from that issue long ago but they airbrushed the photos too much to work from.

rsine.... thanks very much. Here's another version. I think it was Stuff magazine, but Maxim was nice too. I have 3 of the jumpsuit photos, and wish there were more somewhere. The jawline I had a lot of trouble with and almost junked it for that reason. I also don't know about the head-body proportion. I have a Gabrielle I'll eventually scan but I have to use someone else's scanner and it's pricey. Long story. This is the first time in all these years that more than a small handful of people have been able to see this stuff, so it's a big moment for me. I've found a few interesting Xena photos I hope to use, though a huge eye problem interferes with drawing. Thanks again. Edited To: Resize. Image is too big. ~~Joxcee

The blogger site must have a thing against hotlinking... the images don't show up until after you visit the site... so here are the links to the images:
photos1.blogger.com/blogger/2385/2078/1600/lawless%201.1.jpg
http://photos1.blogger.com/blogger/2385/2078/1600/lawless%201,%20top%20half,%20framed002.2.jpg
NOTICE: Image titles should not have spaces in them. The empty spaces become %20 in the url, and the symbol % causes all kinds of problems on ProBoards when trying to use URLs to link to pages or images.
Use - (the dash) in the title instead... then when you upload the image, the url will be easier to use, such as:
lawless-1.1.jpg
lawless-1,-top-half,-framed002.2.jpg
http://photos1.blogger.com/blogger/2385/2078/1600/lawless-1,-top-half,-framed002.2.jpg

Actually I think I ment STUFF not Maxim were the photos were very badly airbrushed. I always get those confused. When you scanned the full version, Did you have to scan it in portions and then stitch them together with the computer? That's what I have to do when a drawing is too big because I don't have a digital camera. Boy that's a pain. Sheeesh.

That link Joxcenia did won't work. I'll try to just link to the "thumbnail" which is still pretty big... I gave the link to the actual site above remember, and I'd be grateful if people could take a look there. Here it is again. visualdevice.blogspot.comLet's see if a non-thumbnail works. I just retitled everything. Now the thumbnail. No, it's still full of "%20" even though I took out all spaces. I'm done. If people could just look at the site I'd be grateful. I won't be trying to post any images inside threads anymore. rsine... i just make one of my middle-of-the-night trips to Kinko's half a county away, to their color copier which makes great copies of drawings (I turn the color function off for B&W drawings). With a big one (the Lucy drawing is the biggest I've ever done), I copy it in bits and then splice it all together with my pained eyes, scissors, and glue. But then I have a master I can copy from forever, and scan into any scanner if it's 8 1/2" x 11". A big drawing will require around six copies, which then have to be spliced together by hand. I believe it's your blogger site that's not allowing hot linking... (even though it's your blog and your images)... when I get the url of the images and add it to the address bar and go to the pages they're on and then come back to this page, the images show up. So, if you want to share them here as Rick does, you'll have to upload the images to PhotoBucket.com or to ImageShack.com (I think that's the one that Rick uses)... or to some other site that does allow you to hotlink to your images.

I can't afford to have to figure out any extra problems now, but thank you. Brain, eyes, and body need me to stop. But if people here could go to the blog and look things over, I'd appreciate it. The LL post is three posts or so down from the top. The Gabrielle will get scanned when I can manage it. visualdevice.blogspot.com/

PhotoBuckets isn't too hard to figure out... once you create the account & various albums, you can upload the images with the urls to the images, or from your computer... you can upload up to 19 at one time.

I have no idea what you're saying. Thanks though. I'm really sick and my comprehension is interfered with. I hope the URL is enough.

You're welcome... it's always an option you can try later. If you need any help, just ask.
