I have all the books but need studio time to get past my issues. Practice makes perfect I hear...Now if I could just find the time to practice.

Thanks. To be honest I'm surprised it turned out concidering the frusteration with drawing I've been having lately. This one is also done in plane old Prismacolor pencils but after scanning it and downloading to my computer, I used the computer to tweak it a bit to give it the soft glow effect. The portrait itself is incomplete but I think I'll keep it as is. I like the way it looks this way.

Some of the best work is what the artist would call incomplete...To others it is unique and complete in itself because we do not have the artist's vision of the work. Z has some fabulous works that are half of the face and they are some of my favorites...Adding mystery and giving me or the viewer the chance to add the rest with our imagination...
