I have just started watching the Xena episodes and found most of the to be fairly entertaining (please, no attacks, remember, Vulcans don't express emotion as humans do!) and also started watching Hercules when I realized that was a separate series.
My proposed research project revolves around these two TV series. It is obvious when some of the episodes in one series should be watched in relation to the other series but what I would like to see is an interconnected timeline of the two series, episode by episode.
The main idea behind such a project would be for a newbie, like myself, or a die hard fan watching the two series all over again to be able to watch the two concurrently without too many distractions from discordant plot lines.
Anyone else think this might be possible?

Well, fancy that! If I had bothered using the search function I could have saved face and not embarrassed myself by showing what a Noob I am. Then again, I got the information I was looking for without having to work for it and garnered two more posts at the same time. Logic prevails after all. BTW, Thank you for the information Mini-Mia.

OK, I have another couple of questions. - I have been watching Hercules on Netflix and notice that Season 4, Episode 4 is missing. When I look for the missing episode online, I can find a synopsis and even found an 8+ minute clip on YouTube. I was wondering if anyone knew why the episode is missing from Netflix (low likelyhood of anyone but NetFlix PTB's knowing) and if there is an online video of the full episode, and
- There is a 'Trailor' of sorts near the beginning of each Hercules episode where short cut-scenes from different episodes are shown. Up until recently I thought each short scene was associated with an entire episode but, in the Cave of Echoes episode (Season 2, Episode 24), there are a series of flash backs to prior episodes. Some of the flash backs I don't recognize as being from any previously seen episodes. Would it be possible to compile a list, in order shown, of each episode represented by each flash back in the 'Trailor'?

... You can try the various other sites listed in this thread: ... Thanks, I will try those.
WOW! You mean I have actually come up with a question not already covered!? I feel I've somehow transgressed into a holey area ... as well as one fraught with religious overtones ... Next time I watch an episode, I will try to step through that section and write down a numbered list of the different scenes, so it can be worked on. Most of them I can remember seeing them in one episode or another, so may even be able to give a quick synopsis of some along with the identifying Season-Episode. I think there are only between 3 and 5 that I don't recall seeing before.

I did search Whoosh.org to no avail. I didn't check out YukuWhoosh's archives though. It didn't occur to me that that query might have been asked there before.

BTW: I created 3 threads about this query. One on the Xena/RenPics board here. One on the IMDb.com Hercules board, and one of the IMDb.com Xena board. Hopefully we'll get all of the flashback clips figured out.

I was talking to my partner and she indicated that it's more an introduction or preview than a trailer since it come near the beginning of every episode. When it's in the first episode, they are all previews of coming episodes. When it's in the last episode they are all reviews of past episodes. In every case, they appear to be the same segments. Haven't had a chance, yet, to work on my numbered list.

Spock, It might some simple reason: Netflix doesn't have X:WP's "Lyre, Lyre, Heart's on Fire" because of problems with the music and permissions. scamp, "when in doubt, go for the obvious"

Thanks Q but I didn't see the one episode I was looking for at your link. <Note to self: I wonder if this Q is related to the Q that I have met before ...> [Added] mini-Mia: Your second link from above was gold. I was able to watch the entire episode. I may never be able to look an Arachnid in the face again!

OK, I've started writing down the scenes. I will update/modify this post as I write more down. Hercules Opening Credits Note Note: Numbered scenes fade from one to the next. Opening: 1. Steaming mud pit with, in the distance, a mountain on the left and forested hills to the near right and center. Season ?, Episode ? 2. Two headed Hydra. Season ?, Episode ? 3. Snake woman ( ) snapping her tail, fading to man turning to stone. Season ?, Episode ? 4. Couple falling to ground, face down, and burning to ash. Season ?, Episode ? 5. Hercules climbing to top of a ridge. Image overlaid with the opening title screen for "Hercules". Season ?, Episode ? 6. Hercules stops a giant from braining him with a club. Fade to Hercules hitting the giant with its own club, sending it over onto its back on top of a hay cart. Fade to -> Villagers 'bouncing' from the seismic shock of the falling giant. Season ?, Episode ? 7. Hercules enters a room of his house with one of his sons in each arm and his daughter on his back clinging to his neck. Season ?, Episode ?

2. Two headed Hydra. Season ?, Episode ?
I'm thinking it was the first movie, Hercules and the Amazon Women.
(S1/E1) The Wrong Path mikes-images.com/herc/wrong_path/
I believe that is the second movie, Hercules and the Lost Kingdom.
That could be the fourth or fifth movie: Hercules and the Underworld or Hercules and the Maze of the Minotaur.
