Where the Lilies Bloom (1974) - I saw this one when I was a kid. It's a story about 4 orphans living alone in the backwoods in an effort to keep the authorities from breaking up the family. Very good, heartwarming movie - the book it's based on is also. Odd, but the only actor/actress that went on to do anything else was Jan Smithers, who later played Bailey in WKRP.

I remember that one, Gams! It was during the same era as "Where The Red Fern Grows", "The Wilderness Family". "Seven Alone", etc.
"The Moon-Spinners" (1964) - In Disney's attempt at a Hitchcock-type mystery, Hayley Mills plays a girl on vacation who finds puppy love and jewel thieves on the island of Crete.

"The Wilderness Family"!!! I remember that one; I loved it as a kid. "Where the Red Fern Grows" - I never saw the movie, but the book... sniff and sob, sob, sob.
Here's one I could not stand; I don't think I've ever made it through the entire movie:

Young Frankenstein - a Mel Brooks movie.
Still makes me laugh: "Igor: You know, I'll never forget my old dad. When these things would happen to him... the things he'd say to me. Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: What did he say? Igor: "What the hell are you doing in the bathroom day and night? Why don't you get out of there and give someone else a chance?"
"Frau Blücher: Then I vill say... goodnight, Herr Doctor. Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: Goodnight, Frau Blücher. [horses whinny] " <== a running gag throughout the movie every time her name was mentioned.

That Frau Blücher gag with the horse is funny every time. I don't know how they kept straight faces, making that movie!

From Dusk 'Til Dawn - cheesy movie that's reached cult status, written by Quentin Tarantino starring himself, George Clooney, and Juliette Lewis. A drama? Horror flick? Comedy? Maybe all three. I'm not sure if it's one of Tarantino's Grindhouse films, but it has that feel.

Ooooo, I love that movie, Step! Gams, if you've never seen that one, you really must. Your girls would like it, too.
Johnny Eager (1941) - Robert Taylor stars as a ruthless hood who seeks to manipulate a D.A. by seducing his daughter (Lana Turner). But his life is changed when he falls for the girl.
You could fry eggs on the screen when Rob and Lana are together. So sexy!
