Glad to hear AA enjoyed the movie ...... and had a chuckle at our expense. Here's a conversation between two people ............. "Why don't you ask your boss how badly he really does want to stick his neck out for a terrorist." "Well, he might for due process. Maybe I should have a copy of the Constitution sent to your office."

Let's see if we can get this up and running again .....
A confrontation between two men .....
*You want answers?*
*I think I'm entitled to.*
*You want answers?*
*I want the truth!*
*You can't handle the truth!*
Should be pretty easy.

HA! For most people. I took me a while because, though I knew it wasn't right, I kept thinking Al Pacino in "And Justice For All" - don't ask; I'm not even sure why.
Jack Nicholson in "A Few Good Men".
Do I have to have the character name? That'll take even longer.

Jack Nicholson in "A Few Good Men". Spot on Gams, see, told ya it was easy. Do I have to have the character name? That'll take even longer. Unfortunatly yes, also the name of the other actor in the conversation and his characters name, as well as the birth dates for both ........ oh yeah, and the name of the leading actress and a brief (one hundred words or less) synopsis of the plot. Naw just kiddin'. ;D

Dang, Katina, you are making this tough!
So....What's His Name (played by Jack Nicholson) and Whoever He Is (played by Tom Cruise) are standing around in uniform. Whoever He Is has a sense of entitlement; What's His Name repeats himself a couple of times before losing it and yelling. (the screenwriters got the idea for this conversation, btw, from an exchange between parent and teenager)
Meanwhile, I Can Place Her Face But Not Her Name (played by Demi Moore) is always up for a few good men.

Dang, Katina, you are making this tough! Yeah but I knew you'd be up for the challenge like the true trooper you are Gams. What's His Name repeats himself a couple of times before losing it and yelling. (the screenwriters got the idea for this conversation, btw, from an exchange between parent and teenager) LMAO. Meanwhile, I Can Place Her Face But Not Her Name (played by Demi Moore) is always up for a few good men. Still LMAO. Good sight you linked there Jox.

'When you don't know the answer, wing it' is my motto. And just look what doing that got this teenager on Jeopardy...$75,000! tv.yahoo.com/news/teen--jeopardy---contestant-gives-the-best-final-jeopardy--answer-ever--video--225433197.htmlNobody else knew the answer either, but that's beside the point. The point is - I wanna know is where's my "winging it" prize money! Ok, ok - no prize money because Joxie came up with the correct answer. And it's okay that there's no prize money, because making you laugh, Katina, is reward enough. <just in case there's 'buttering up the question asker' money involved in this game>

Ummm, sounds like Yoda from "Star Wars' but it ain't him.
Have no idea to be honest, I'll try a genre, is it a gangster/crime type thingy?
Oh and is Johnny Depp involved in some manner, notice he crops up quite a bit whenever you're talking films Gams, for what reason I'm not really sure.
;D

Not Star Wars, not gangster/crime, and no Johnny Depp. The movie is based on a book.

Ummmm, struck out on all three, not exactly off to a flying start. For some reason I'm thinking Dr. Seuss, a film made from one of his books?

Not Dr. Seuss, Katina. This movie is a drama released a couple of years ago. Along with winning gobs and gobs of other awards, it was nominated for Oscars in the categories of Best Picture, and two of its actresses were nominated for Best Actress in a Supporting Role; one of them won. It was also nominated for Best Actress in a Leading Role - the quote was spoken by that actress.

Ahhhh, that's what I like, gobs and gobs of clues. Just saw this recently on tele, it's the maid, played by whatshername, talking to the little girl played by haventgotaclue, in "The Help" if I'm not mistaken. Thought when I started watching that it would be overly sentimental, but it was a pleasent surprise, nice film.

Not a Dr. Seuss book either. It's based on a novel that came out a few years ago. Not present day. Not too far in the past.
