I've been messing around with the headers/footers, so if anyone starts to experience problems, let me know. I'll run crying to Le to fix my mess.
I archived the "Unexplained / Unsolved Mysteries" board, and removed the link from the footer ... and the image from the footer script. I added images to the "GuestHouse" & "Bard's Workshop" boards footer script, and the workshop & Secret Garden board links to the footer.
I don't expect any problems, but ya never know.

As long as you are volunteering to accept blame, can I foist blame for my registry problems on you too?

Sure, why not? I'm the blame when everything goes wrong at home ... why not everywhere else?

Oh Goodie! Thanks! It also had a couple port issues...my fault...I only have wine coolers.

I can't find my watch, Jox. Can I blame that on you, too?

Sure, go ahead, Siren. I probably packed it in the wrong box ... and it'll be in the last box you unpack.

I heard Phalon lost track of last year's left handed smoke shifter. Maybe Siren packed it by accident! She was most likely distracted by Joxee - that would explain it! Siren, look for a smoke shifter - a left handed one - maybe your watch is hanging on the optional hot dog pin.

Hey! Blaming me for losing the thing while I wasn't around to defend myself last night? The nerve of some people.....
Oh...wait. We're blaming Joxie.
It's cold and rainy here today. What's up with that, Joxie?
Oh, just put a cork in it, and quit your wining....don't you know there's no rhyme or Riesling why these things happen?
Just kidding, Stepper. I can understand the fine whine, but I'm a beer kinda girl, myself. Sorry for whatever ales your computer, but I'm sure you'll be that much Budweiser when you get it fixed.

Misery loves company. It was around 71 this afternoon ... but within a few hours it was 40 (feels like 33) with a bit of ice and snow mixed in with the rain that's been going all day almost non-stop.
Me, being not selfish, thought I'd spread it around.

Thanks for sharing, Joxie. You are much too generous.....much, much too generous! Now, if you were willing to part with some of that 71 degree weather, I'd be ever-so-grateful. BP has a friend coming over in a bit; the ice-skating rink opened this week, and they are set on going. It's 27 degrees out now, with a fierce wind off the Lake. Ice-skating is not on the top of my wanna-do list.
I wonder if I can talk them into helping find Siren's watch instead. I'm sure it's gotta be around here somewhere.

Yeah, it's called every state in the northern tier. No kidding! We were at SIL's house. Until about 5:30PM it was 81F (27.22C), then the wind started blowing. By 8:30 the temp was down to 45F (7.22C) Don't fall for it Siren! Phalon has a warped sense of humor about some things. Read her line above the one where she's trying to temp you into visiting. See? Don't fall for it!! M&M said I think they are secretly sisters or something, plotting to harming us still warm blooded souls with their treacherous, cold cruel temperatures! Getting into the spirit...No cork here - FrenchRabbit, merlot, pinot grigio, pinot noir all come in convenient boxes. (I understand the last three are actual wines too.) Appreciate the good wishes for the 'puter. I'm hoping an asprin or some other Pilsen will cure the headaches it's caused. I Malt to have it all fixed up soon. Actually, I tried granting one of my own wishes this morning. I braved the crowds at Wal-Mart in hopes of snagging a $200 e-machine laptop. They had stacks and stacks of everything else, but a limited supply of the laptops (of course). The sale started at 5AM. By 5:01 the laptops were gone. A cop told me that the people in the front of the line were there at 10PM Thanksgiving night. This is a 24 hour store so they were inside, standing by the display for the laptops, under the watchful eye of the cop, for 7 hours. I didn't stand a chance. Sigh. There goes the new system as a replacement concept.

Boxed whine! Noooooo! Steer clear of that god-awful stuff, Stepper. It's the catalyst to every single kitchen brawl that ever started, I swear.
Don't ask how I know this; I just do. It happened long, long ago on these very pages here....or maybe on these pages precursor board, or quite possibly the precursor to the precursor. Of curse, my fading memory might have something to do with the involvement of boxed whine; wicked stuff, I'll tell ya.
Sorry for your Walmart Woes; did you expect anything less from the Retailer Scourge Upon the Earth...or at least the scourge of small towns across the country. I was talking with a friend yesterday (from a small town other than ours) who had nearly the exact same experience at Walmart's Black Friday Free-for-all.

The kind your kids find out about when they are 21 and the neighbors don't know the kids don't know why you get those funny looks and they spill the beans. Accidentally of course. No, but the laptop really would have worked out nicely so I had to try. Honestly, I was near a display in electronics when they announced that it was 5AM. It resembled a shark feeding frenzy. So much so the sharks may have taken notes from the shoppers in some past year. I saw a similar laptop in another store yesterday - but it's also $190 more than one I didn't get. Same spec's - just a different logo. Here's another change for this year. We are way ahead of our normal schedule. We've already mailed out some of the presents and have most of the others wrapped. It feels good having the long distance stuff done. A couple of birthday presents go in the boxes too, and then there's just a couple things to pick up for ourselves. We'll be done shopping way early this year.

Looks like you've been at it again this past week, Joxie. Or maybe the changes have always been there (in which case they wouldn't be changes), and I've just now noticed. Entirely possible.
The scribbling pencil is quite mesmerizing. Makes me want to doodle on something.

Yeppers. I've been making some changes. A little at a time though. I was going to post my changes in this thread but decided to wait to see if/when someone noticed. I'm not quite finished just yet. I thought I'd step back and see if I liked the results, or if I should undo it all. I do like the actors images in the descriptions of their boards though.

I hadn't noticed the actors' pictures. You know where I had to go look; almost keeled over in a swoon. Which reminds me....did you ever get around to watching "Alice in Wonderland"?

Not yet. I've seen it listed on the satellite grid lately, but never when I had time to watch.

I'm making some changes. Moving boards ... moving threads to archives and onto other boards ... deleting emptied boards. Going through headers/footers to change the 'i' to an 's' on photobucket images. That's a lot of h/f ... which is why I'm getting rid of boards where I can.
