A lot of work and it all gets washed off in the end.

I remember having a discussion this past summer with my artist friend about ephemeral art - art that is not meant to last. Ephemeral art is nothing new, and some aspects of it are quite common (think sand sculptures and sidewalk chalk art), but my friend, who paints on canvas with oils or acrylics, was really excited about some of the stuff ephemeral artists have started doing. I watched a documentary a few years ago about the ephemeral art of Any Goldsworthy, who uses nature as his medium. I think the art is both seReneeeely calming, and excitingly uplifting at the same time. Here are a few examples: www.morning-earth.org/ARTISTNATURALISTS/AN_Goldsworthy.html (edited - for the second time - this time to say WTF? SeReneely. Just checking. I never typed it the way it appears in the "I think the art is both..." sentence. I obviously made a typo I thought, after making the post the first time, and edited the post with the correct spelling. And now, the it appears with the same typo? Why?)

I've seen that site before. I, or someone shared it somewhere.
Oh. Years ago, someone posted 'Rene' instead of 'Renee' on the Xena board, and I had 'Rene' turn into 'Renee' in the censored words list. I deleted it just now, so there should be no future problems typing serene. se(rene) = se(Renee) If I had added a space in front of the Rs it never would have happened.
