Well, according to Billboard, the #1 song for week ending April 9 (I was born on the fifth) was "We've Got Tonight" by Kenny Rogers & Sheena Easton, a remake of a 70s hit by Bob Seger. I like the remake better (which is odd, since I'm a huge Bob Seger fan - I just don't particularly care for that song - probably because it plays over a sad scene on the TV show The Wonder Years, which I used to watch back when I was in elementary school.

Evidently they didn't have country music as a category back then. But billboard says the number one song was "Till I Waltz Again with You" Teresa Brewer. I've never heard it.

stepper: It doesn't sound familiar to me.
marjancin: No one can do it better than Bob Seger.
