I should have mentioned it - Erised is Desire spelled backwards.

reheat (We've been so busy at work that the single cup of coffee I bring in the morning, gets reheated 4 or 5 times throughout the day before I finally get to drink it...usually when it's time to close!)

My brother gave me a really nice one, but for whatever reason, I've never used it.

I have one - two actually - with a pump top. You pump out just as much as you want and the rest stays cold or hot in the thermos. I'm a bit surprised you don't use it, but maybe it's more of a bother than a convenience.
Thneed (A Thneed is a highly versatile object knitted from the foliage of a Truffula Tree as described by Dr.
Seuss in The Lorax.

It's a combination of forgetfulness (although it's in the cabinet next to the coffee pot), and habit (I have an insulated stainless steel cup that I take to work everyday). It's probably a good thing though; I drink enough coffee before leaving for work, and take just a single cup with me. If I used the thermos, I'm sure I'd fill it to the top - which amounts to three cups.
Mom never liked Dr. Seuss for that exact reason - how do you teach kids to read when the words in his books are completely made up? I guess she passed the idea on to me; I never read the girls Dr. Seuss books either - except "The Foot Book". I can probably still recite that one by heart..."Left foot, left foot, left foot, right. Feet in the morning, feet at night. Left foot left foot, left...."
shrewd
Edited to add: Oh! And "Go Dog, Go"!!! "Do you like my hat?" "No, I do not like your hat." We had that one when we were kids and we all loved it. So did my kids. It still sits on a bookcase shelf with other favorites that I am 'not allowed to get rid of'.

I didn't have the books but a neighbor had pretty much all of them. And I enjoyed them, especially the Grinch. Dr. Seuss was fun to read because of the made up words. And somehow, it seems everyone has at least heard of Green Eggs and Ham.
