I always only made Minute Rice, but one recipe called for 'regular' rice. It went into the bottom of the dish, dry. I didn't have Minute Rice one day and had to make the regular rice. I found I loved it tons more, and have cooked it several times since.
I loved the Brown Rice with Fried Fish at Cracker Barrel, but not sure of the recipe to make it at home. I found this recipe, but it's for a crowd, not one person. I'm not good at math, so no way to dwindle it down.
I love Fried Rice at Asian Restaurants, and would love to make it on my own ... just hadn't done it yet. I have several cookbooks with recipes.
