Would you quit? Bats for breakfast, and it leaves one feeling flightly. Need something of more substance.
How you gonna mind-trip food down here, by the way?
However you do; send a pillow and blanket too. I'm sleepy. At least it's dark.
Wake me for lunch, okay?

Wait... did the sun go down? The sun should be shining through the opening you fell through.

I'm in the dark all the time, Joxie.
Yeah, Scrappy, I'm channelling Joxie up to you too. She's hungry as well.
I'll let you two talk, while I sleep. Keep it down though. Use Channel Five, Joxie; the others are kind of fuzzy.

Psst, again. Hey, Scrappy, still up there? Woke up down here still languishing away in this tunnel, and Damn it to Tartarsauce, Joxie and Guru are nowhere to be seen.
Speaking of Tartersauce - reminds me again of food. Save me some, okay? Something more substantial than a couple of wormy apples and a cold chicken leg.
Hungrily awaiting your response. Think loud. The brainwave connection down here is not very clear.

Ok Ok I'm up. Tell me how to get where you are and I'll bring you a banana or something....On second thought. Maybe that's not such a good idea. *snort*

Post by Phalon on May 19, 2005 23:22:36 GMT -6
A banana? A few inches of soft mush? I said something substantial, didn't I? A couple of feet, I'm thinking.
Doughnuts. Stack them a couple of feet tall, and send them down. Here, let me just....
The still earth calm, a sword rises from the mist; Exphalibur, and the Lady from the Tunnel offers it back to the world....ok, wrong story, but I'm delirious from lack of food.
Anyway, I just stuck my sword through the ceiling of the tunnel. Can you see it? Just stack the doughnuts on the sword, I'll pull it back through, and it'll tide me over until I get out of this hell hole in the ground.

Post by Scrappy Amazon on May 20, 2005 0:01:47 GMT -6
But when the sword goes back down won't the dognuts kinda get stuck? How about some soup...I could pour it down the hole....maybe a salami? Now that's more substantial.

Two steps forward and three steps back.... three steps forward and two steps back...
put the right foot in... put the right foot out... put the right foot in, and shake it all about....
...twist and shout... ...twist and shout...
...put the right torch in... ...put the right out... ...put the right torch in, and shake it all about... oops... Where'd the flames go?

Mmmphhh. Hang on. It's hard to think straight after the fourth doughnut. No soup; send coffee instead. Gotta wash these down.
The salami I'll save for later....never know how long I'm gonna be down in here by myself.

You want it in a thermos or shall I pour it down the hole? And where is Guru anyway?

Post by Phalon on May 24, 2005 0:09:11 GMT -6
Thermos is cool; industrial sized please. Make it strong - the kind of coffee you can arm-wrestle with.
Hhmmm...Guru? I don't know, I haven't seen him since the dueling growling stomaches of Joxie and mine. Maybe the hideous noise scared him away.
Shhh...btw. Don't tell Joxie about the doughnuts. They're mine, mine, all mine.
Ok, maybe just one.
Hey, Joxie....BOOO!!! Wanna doughnut?

Pfft. I am not being greedy. I offered her one out of the two dozen that are mine, mine, mine, didn't I?
LMAO at this actually. It's my Xena-Sista friend. A sickness she has involving Krispy Kreme Doughnuts. She is tiny; my height and barely 100 pounds sopping wet. Rarely eats sweets - except when it comes to these doughnuts. Four dozen she ate last week; minus the two or three that her hubs and son were able to sneak outta the box before she noticed. I didn't believe her, but her Hubs confirmed it, looking longingly at the box as she slapped his hand away before popping another in her mouth. You are sick, I tell her.
Good thing these things are not very common around here and kind of hard to find. Two dozen of the four were a gift; a kind of thank-you from a neighbor for watching their dog, I think. The other two she bought from some religious group selling them as a fund-raiser. Buying your way into heaven, I ask her, the road paved with Krispy Kreme doughnuts? I'd walk to hell for these things, she says, and in my heathenistic soul that she prays for, (rolls eyes), I know she is lying.
Ah yes...and there was a point to this story?
Probably not - but hey, I offered Joxie a doughnut, didn't I. Xena-Sis did no such thing to me.
By the gods, help me outta this tunnel before I completely lose my mind - which is gonna happen if I continue to talk to myself much longer.

Last time I checked you had tuned into my brainwaves so you're not exactly talking to yourself....and are you ever going to come out of that hole and have breakfast with the group?

So that's what I keep hearing; voices in my head and I thought I'd gone mad.
Hello? Hello? Anyone else in here?
Suspicious Silence; just the dust bunnies quietly murmmuring amongst themselves in the recesses of my mind.
Am I ever getting out of this place? I dunno - kind of enjoying sitting back with my doughnuts, salami and coffee right now; waiting for something exciting to happen.....listening to the dust bunny lullaby....
Growing sleepy, and I think you didn't make this coffee nearly strong enough.

We let it jell for a while and then start a posting frenzy... just like in The Zena Scrolls. No ones posted in "The Scrolls" for a while either, but it's still open for business. I think they'll both continue to be open for posting for as long as anyone is interested in reading and posting.
